About
From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes an emotionally charged evolution of this genre-defying experience. In bringing this title to PC, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS worked with Nixxes Software to deliver the definitive version of the critically acclaimed console release.
In the expansive open world of DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, countless areas with vastly different terrains and environments are seamlessly connected, and the changing time, weather and nature itself provide a variety of landscapes and challenges.
There are various obstacles that will prevent Sam from completing his mission. Face them head-on, sneak around, or completely avoid dangerous areas. Choose your approach to any situation.
Eleven months after the events of the original DEATH STRANDING, rejoin Sam and his companions on a new journey to save humanity from extinction and discover the answer to this haunting question: Should we have connected?
Join Sam for the next chapter of his journey as he attempts to connect Australia to the Chiral Network. Navigate a living environment through day and night cycles, natural disasters – including earthquakes, sandstorms and forest fires – and Timefall, a rain that instantly ages everything it touches.
To traverse this dangerous landscape, you’ll need to build new types of infrastructure, master specialized equipment and confront (or evade) the otherworldly creatures that roam the fractured world.
Face enigmatic Mech soldiers, as-yet unseen BTs and new boss types that will push Sam to his limits. As you prepare for each journey, you’ll be able to fabricate weapons like machine guns, shotguns and grenade launchers to deal with threats. Or, choose to avoid confrontation altogether with stealth – using decoy holograms, silent takedowns and long-ranged gear.
Through APAS enhancements, Sam can learn new skills that will improve his odds of survival, like enhanced weapon fire-rates or reduced movement noise to help him stay hidden.
The iconic Social Strand System of DEATH STRANDING returns to encourage asynchronous connection across the globe. Your in-game actions affect how other players interact with the world and vice-versa – so connect, collaborate and help your fellow Porters on their journeys.
Leave a “Like” on a useful bridge, donate resources to community projects, store field ware in shared lockers and finish incomplete deliveries as you stumble upon dropped cargo from other Porters. As you support other players on their journeys, your own reputation will grow, giving you access to valuable resources and new gear.
Full integration with NVIDIA’s DLSS, AMD’s FSR and Intel’s XeSS and upscaling and frame generation technologies, allowing you to reach higher output resolutions; enjoy crisp, high-fidelity visuals as you navigate and explore an expansive and unpredictable open world.¹
Benefit from the option of higher framerates as well as tailored graphic settings, for a wide range of hardware – supporting every delivery with solid performance.¹
Witness even more of this incredible world with panoramic, super-ultrawide (32:9) support for gameplay, with standard ultrawide (21:9) support for in-game cut scenes.²
Take control with full mouse and keyboard support to suit your play style. Personalize your gameplay further by mapping custom keybinds.
Feel the action with full DualSense controller integration. Seize the thrill of combat through haptic feedback, or maintain cargo weight distribution – and steady yourself – using innovative adaptive trigger functionality.³

its generally an overall improvement on the first game it may be not as challenging as the previous game terrain wise it is more casual in that sense because vehicles are given early with very little terrain actually challenging the vehicles or natural disasters like trees that could be cut or rockl slides that could be cleared or wild fires or anchors for vehicle wenches i feel like both on foot and cars should have a challenge as well as the on foot gameplay also why not a semi truck of cargo and more robots in the wild making deliveries or porters fighting bt's sometimes
二代的画面与可玩性大大提高!
More walking, driving, delivering & story. Yeah super time.
Keep on keeping on!🌪️💀👶👍❤️
There are so many things about this game that I genuinely love, the core gameplay of taking orders picking your best route, bringing the right equipment, is all incredibly engaging and is polished to an absolute shine, the world looks unbelievably beautiful and the Kojima clearly has fantastic music taste, the game has incredible art direction, constantly throwing on you the most beautifully haunting imagery you’ve ever seen, and even though I have a lot of gripes with the story it left me in the end with a positive feeling, especially Luca Marinelli’s character and his story which is a standout emotional highlight of the game for me, even though the gameplay elements of it leave a lot to be desired. With that said, the game so many issues that leave me with a sad sense of disappointment, first of all my biggest issue, the character of Dollman, easily the worst addition made to the game, I do not need acclaimed director and screenwriter Fatih Akin to explain to me that I need to dodge enemy attacks or that my health is looking low, such a shockingly bad addition to your game can only be done if you think very little of the player’s intelligence and it ends up being annoying and patronizing and pointless. And while the core gameplay is amazing, the shooting combat, which was easily the worst part of the first back, takes an even bigger stage in the sequel, and the bosses are somehow even worse, I always felt like the shooting in this game was added out of lack of confidence in the game revolving around order delivery but the first game should’ve showcased that it really was not needed, we could’ve had an incredibly engaging experience with simply having to try and avoid danger or run away from it, and keep the game revolving around its incredibly strong core. Even though the story is convoluted, it’s convoluted in a very predictable way, you can see the twists coming from a mile away if you have any sense of understanding of the narrative, doesn’t help that when some cutscenes trigger when leaving the Magellan, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Dollman again will straight up explain exactly what you saw and what it means, please have some faith in the people who choose to play your 40 hour story, and after spending two games’ length controlling Sam you inevitably end up liking him, but he is just so poorly characterized just like basically every character in the game, with such a talented cast it’s clear Kojima signs with his favourite celebrities first and then writes some roles for them, it’s also clear that most if not all of the actors have absolutely no clue what the hell is going on and have no real understanding what emotions to convey, which makes every scene feel like watching children embarrassingly perform a play, bringing Higgs back was also in my opinion a terrible mistake, such an underbaked character that feels like an MGS side villain at best, he has his moments and is especially involved in one of the game’s best moments, but he contributes to the game feeling like there are basically no stakes or danger in the story. One last thing is that I really disliked the decision to use famous directors’ likeness while having someone else do the voice, it’s such a cheap way to flex your famous friends and takes me right out of every scene one of these directors are involved and only works to undermine the great work the actual performers did. Even with all my gripes I think this game is a net positive because it has so many highs that they definitely make up for all the lows, it has so many jaw dropping moments and is bound to stick with your mind and occupy your thoughts from time to time just like the first one, though they did tease a third game I really feel hope they either mix things up better or just pack it in and start something new.
