Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Dead Space 1 and 2 ar worth buying and playing, i have previously watched gameplays of both games and i always wanted to play them, and it was worth it. I give them a nice 10/10. However for DS1 i recommend you download shades mod, it makes the game better.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

[4/5] Excellent. A really strong sequel to Dead Space (2008).
Легенда
i like the game so far
good
THIS IS THE BEST HORROR GAME OF ALL TIME. It takes things from the original dead space and MAKES it better, the story, the combat, the horror, and the set pieces. Overall 10/10 game for life
When I was through about chapter 6, I thought this review was going to be a lot less gracious than it’s gonna be but now after finishing it, I think I discovered something of an anomaly. It’s kind of a cliché at this point that horror games tend to start very strong and then sort of fall off by the end, Dead Space 2 is the EXACT opposite of that. Don’t get me wrong though, that prologue? Absolutely perfect, there’s no build you just START and it’s all gone immediately to ♥♥♥♥ and it’s great, you are force to run through enemies which is a lot easier said than done, you have to doohickey together your first weapon while some poor bastard is getting torn open and it culminates nicely in you getting your trademark CEC suit. And then… well the first half of the game happens. I’m a fan of FromSoftware games so you better believe that I appreciate asset reuse when done tastefully, emphasis on that last part. While I can kind of see that it helps to sell the scale and realism of the station that the civilian quarters were all kind of the same, that doesn’t make the experience of going through the same 3 level layouts around 15 times give or take any more fun, there’s a few unique sections but for the most part, it gets reallyyyy repetitive. It doesn’t help at all that you don’t get the big open areas that you had in the Ishimura with each one having a distinct feeling and problem to fix. From the start of the game, you are put on a strict straight line to the end, to the point that the objective indicator feels kinda condescending for most of the game, because its like yeah man, you see that door that isn’t the one you came from, that’s where the objective is! Another issue I had with the first half is of how much little consequence Isaac’s engineering expertise factor in the objectives, EVERY chapter in DS1 had its own unique brand of space horror you could only find your way through as Isaac. Sure, there’s always the constant army of dismembering undead around, but you had to go fix trams, restoring oxygen, blasting asteroids, keeping the gravity of the ship stable and a ton of other stuff apart from just surviving the monsters around you. That doesn’t really come a lot into play anymore until the later sections, which makes Isaac lose his own special touch to the horror protagonist formula. But luckily, and I couldn’t tell you precisely when cause its gradual, the games picks back up fast, you start getting more challenging encounters, start getting into more dreading scenarios and yes, you start getting bespoke levels as you advance, whose layouts you definitely haven’t seen before. I ended this game feeling pretty satisfied with what I got, but I don’t think I would give it another playthrough in a while cause that first half is a drag. While I would certainly classify the first game as Survival Horror, the linearity and constant set pieces with little in the way of exploration make it hard for me to really give it that label. This is certainly a full-on action horror title with an amount of butt-clenching moments comparable to Resident Evil 4. If you liked the first one, while you may not like as much, as in my case, there’s still something for you to enjoy here and I would recommend you pick it up. As a personal side note, since I was 11 I had the cover of this game with Isaac in it as my profile picture on all my google accounts cause I thought it looked cool but I was too much of a pansy to actually pick up a horror game until I was a grown man, so I’m happy to say that I’m a larper NO MORE BABY.
Classic. If you like action-horror games you should play it.
