A solid game with a slightly odd flow and some silliness to the combat but overall a good time to spend solo or with friends (how I personally played through the game). Would recommend to anyone on sale as its a good way to spend a handful of hours for not a lot of money.
I genuinely cannot, in good conscience, recommend this game (or at least its pc port) over Dying Light, Dying Light 2, or even dead island 2 (or really any other zombie game out there) . I'm actually almost sad I spent 2 pounds on this game, and I would've been outraged if I had paid full price for it. Movement is "janky" and feels like you are constantly wearing blocks of ice on your feet, (in other words, slippery) frame rate feels terrible due to the constant stuttering, no FOV slider, frame cap, hell, its even missing basic mouse settings like raw input. combat is mediocre, with a stamina bar that makes you feel like a grandma with just about enough life left in her to move around, terrible input lag, even after turning off v-sync. To a degree, most of these issues are fixed on the original console version, but the game is still quite poor.
a necessary stepping stone for dying light, it's not a BAD game but just inferior in every way to DL, movement options are limited, story and side quests are devoid of character, combat feels good but clunky once u need to strafe which theres barely any of, wish steam had a middle rating cuz that's what i'd give it
Great game with nice zombies to kill. Nice quests, mostly. A skill system that seems not that in depth. Interesting storyline, Lovely graphics filled to the brim with blood splattering fun. Average story that doesn't reveal too much till nearer the end, based off real-life disease indigineous to Papua New Guinea. Bought it on sale and frankly, it looks much better with the definitive edition.
Game is released in 2016 but experiences performance issues on a gaming laptop built to be spec'd for games like Cyberpunk 2077; this is a very poorly optimized game, unless you enjoy frequent frame stuttering I advise getting this game for free or not at all.
Finally done Platinum this gem... Played this back when it came out on the Xbox 360. If y'all love Dying Light y'all going to love this game. Pretty satisfying to kill zombies and campaign is pretty straight forward (can get a bit boring when you have to do the 1st act with every character...) Game was pretty long to get done platinum. The worst achievements are the bloody coop ones... Only issue is that it really took forever to find people for coop since I don't have friends playing this game. Enjoy for the casuals and good luck for the achievement hunters.
Después de 57 horas, un zombi me mordió... ahora soy Santiago Segura farlopero. ¡Quiquiriquí!

played through this game years ago on console when it first came out, and it still doesn't disappoint. the storyline is super fun and rich, plus the questline is engaging - never a dull moment. will always be a 10/10 game for me.
