Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War – the first Horseman of the Apocalypse – stands accused of breaking the sacred law by inciting a war between Heaven and Hell.

Reviews
2026 review here. Nowadays, the game is dirt cheap, and it's good enough for a dirt cheap game. However: 1) Camera will not follow your character's PoV when you teleport. That makes some boss fights really irritating. 2) No enemy health bars make you not understand when you miss certain mechanics in boss fights, so you can take a long time to realize you're not actually damaging the boss at all. Other than that, have fun.
9/10
This is my cozy game. In my opinion, one of the best action games ever made.

Isso acabou me incomodando bastante e, em alguns momentos, quase me fez abandonar o jogo. Nota: 6,7/10
This game is... okay, i guess. First of all, Darksiders isn't bad, but i can't say it's good either. The thing is, this game is kinda old, being released in 2010 while the Warmastered version is a remaster from 2019, basically just a graphical update. And my issues come from the gameplay which's fruit from the 10's, so you probably see where this is going. I'll start by pointing out that the visuals of the game are amazing, they're well done and the enviroments are varied. Everything here is a feast to the eyes, as well as for the ears, since this soundtrack is pretty good. The exploration is also good, you have collectibles to upgrade War, the main character, and a "metroidvania" type of exploration, where you can unlock new abilities to explore previously locked areas. Now for the issues. The gameplay. It's serviceable... again, this is an old game and it shows. Walk around, explore and fight is just okay and a bit clunky. It's hard to explain, but War, the main character, feels like a brick, his movement and combos feel slow and heavy, you'd have to play or watch a playthrough to really understand what i'm talking about. And then there's the horse, Ruin, man... He is worst to control than a Skyrim horse, pair that with tight areas and you will have some awful time. At least you don't need it too much. It's not the worst thing ever made, but i don't think it's fun. The camera. It's slow to control and it moves on its own while you walk with no option to turn this off. And this sucks on a game that's mostly focused on platforming and puzzle solving. The bosses. Every major boss, and some mini bosses, in here are gimmick bosses, so you won't fight them, you will solve some sort of puzzle to expose the them to some hits, rise and repeat. There is a funny one, the Stygian, where you fight on horseback and you just wait until he lets you hit him with a pistol and ride around avoiding minions when he doesn't. Kinda boring. Not recommended because this game has some flaws which make an experience that could be great, just mid.
Year 2015 i fell in love with g.o.w , since then not a single game has come close to my heart....But year 2026 i stumbled upon Darksider series....I freaking fell in love with the game , i found myself genuinely invested in both the gameplay and the world. Darksiders reminded me why I fell in love with action-adventure games in the first place.
Отличная альтернатива God of War.
