It's good but I kind of hate it.
Peak souls II
Dark souls 2 é o pior souls da franquia inteira. Dificuldade muito desbalanceada, pior posicionamento de inimigos, ter que upar adaptabilidade pra poder rolar melhor??? Não compre.
Peak SOULS 2
To put it bluntly, this game sucks at everything a souls game should be good at. I would absolutely love to recommend this game, there is something so infatuating about the atmosphere and the graphics and the attention to detail with some of the animations and whatnot, however, none of that really makes a good game, especially a souls game. I've heard many people say that Dark Souls 2 is a "Great game, but a bad souls game" and that more or less sums it up, but at the same time doesn't. Dark Souls 2 has an incredibly confusing and irritating level design followed by reused mechanics and uninteresting enemies that are infuriating to play against. Despite wearing incredibly heavy armor, the tiniest little tickle would stagger me and leave me there for 5 seconds just getting wailed on by a normal enemy that respawns the second I rest at a bonfire or die. I cannot even remember the amount of times I've seen the damn Manakin enemies, they have to be in at least 50% of the later game areas. The Adaptability stat, you've already heard enough about this so I'm not gonna explain it that much, all you need to know is that it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea and not well executed. Fragrant Branches of Yore, two words: Just why? All in all it's a whatever mechanic, have cool ♥♥♥♥ hiding around in the petrified enemies/npcs that you can free, but why the ♥♥♥♥ are you gonna hide a bonfire behind one, especially when the run back without it takes at least 5 minutes to get through without taking a ♥♥♥♥ ton of damage. Screw the Black Gulch dude, all that for a mediocre and boring boss. Boss design: meh. Everything is super slow and feels just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to fight, it's all big wind-up sweeping attacks or big AoEs, Pursuer was like the most interesting fight tbh, despite being super easy to parry, but whatever. I like Pursuer and Velstadt, nothing interesting to Velstadt, once again, big wind-up sweeping attacks, and the run back to him sucks dookie-fart, but at least he looks cool and has cool lore. Every area in the game is just riddled with traps and bad platforming and ledges, it ruins the fun. An occasional trap here and there is better that like 6 in a row, not only does it make running back through areas just obnoxious, but you get so used to it that you don't fall for traps anymore. Poison, wtf is going on with poison in this game, it's busted as hell. One poison proc basically kills me from full health even at like 35 vigor and a ring that increases my health, which yes, I know 35 vigor isn't that high, but when every enemy and their mom inflicts poison, I just feel like it shouldn't do as much damage as it does. On the other hand, you can cheese like 90% of enemy encounters with an un-upgraded bow and some poison arrows, it's just so weird to me. PvP: I'm not a huge fan of PvP in any souls game, so I tend to avoid it, I'm just not a fan of the whole meta-PvP build spamming and whatnot, but to each their own, I don't really care. But the PvP in this game feels AWFUL. DS3 feels smooth, good, not too fast paced, but not slow either. Elden Ring PvP is a little too fast paced for me, but it's so diverse that it keeps things interesting. PvP in this game however just feels janky, slow, and unrewarding. Even with small and fast weapons, it is so incredibly easy to bait out backstabs, it's just super bland and repetitive gameplay. Also the NPC invaders are just super weird, sometimes they input-read and then they'll just stop for no reason, it makes them feel super unrewarding to fight, especially when they run off at half health and lead you down a dark tower with enemies spamming fire bombs and arrows, I don't remember that invaders name, but that was awful dude, that was infuriating, I just used a giant seed on his ass. All in all, the game looks great, but just feels incredibly clunky and lacks the good level and boss design that makes a souls game a souls game. I respect DS2 for trying new things like power stancing and whatnot, but it just fails to deliver anything memorable. All of the boss fights lack this certain umph that the bosses in other FromSoft games provide. I played Bloodborne literal years ago, but to this day I will never forget the feeling of beating Orphan for the first time, it felt rewarding, it felt good, struggling on a boss or an area in DS2 and beating it just feels relieving, it doesn't feel good. Most bosses in DS2 just come down to sit behind them and smack em a few times, it's rather unfortunate, as there's something about this game that just draws me back but always leaves me disappointed.
👍 Recomendado Com 248 horas de jogo e 100% das conquistas desbloqueadas, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin acabou me proporcionando uma experiência muito melhor do que eu esperava.
