Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As it is the game is barely worth playing, the game play is wonky as hell and the mid/endgame is borderline unplayable because of weird balancing and bosses simply having to much hp (we are talking 500.000+ hp while only being able to do 250-350 DMG a hit). Bosses aren't interesting to fight as well, as they only have about 4-5 attacks to cycle through, with the counter to each attack being to parry-counter it, which only does about double weapon damage, not a lot when every late game boss takes about 700-1000 total attacks (according to the in-game combo meter if uninterrupted throughout a boss battle) Doesn't help that drop rates for boss items needed for better equipment are very low, and that the stats on better equipment feel like they barely make any difference in the mid/late game. Does not help the game that in order to fight a boss one has to run through an entire dungeon every time one wants to defeat a boss. My personal biggest problem with the game is how many bosses do moves that cause the player to be stuck inside the bosses hitbox, making it impossible for both the player and the boss to move for the remainder of the boss battle, and that the AI companions when playing singleplayer is beyond lobotomized. attacking slowly, ranged characters standing right up against bosses (when it comes to the character "Uni", this causes her to do no damage for some reason), Melee characters not shielding enemy attacks consistently, the character Blanc (the only healer who can revive) only reviving the player and none of the other part members and healers only healing when their own HP is low or not at all in many cases. 80% of the game is repeating the same dungeons over and over for drops and quests, with almost all kill-quests being locked until the initial dungeon for said quest has already been completed, and 50% of quests not being unlocked until the game has already been completed. the game also has a lot of glitches in general game play (like bosses who can perform jumping attacks landing and standing on the player, causing the camera to flip out like crazy if locked on to said boss) and terrible sound design (the AI companion teleport sound breaks every time all 3 companions teleport, the long distance dash ability leaving sound behind instead of following the player, causing sound to implode whenever the said ability is used, and sound becoming very crunchy whenever all party-members are doing actions in battle.) All of this makes the minute-to-minute game play feel absolutely atrocious to experience, the story is the high point of the game (like very other Neptunia game) and is the only reason I can think of to play this game. The customization is pretty good doe 3/10
The game has some of the better music in the series, it also has that feature I like where the voice lines continue while you're moving from moment to moment after you move ahead(so skipped voice lines don't end immediately which is an interesting thing that most games do that I somehow like(unless of course there is a super annoying character that I need to shut up immediately). In any case, I defeated a boss in each of 2 different levels in this game, talked to all the NPCs in the hometown, tried leveling up for a bit to fight enemies in the 3rd level but the 3rd level is disgustingly OP and I'm not sure what the game wants me to do. The characters aren't explaining to me what I am supposed to do so I'm just giving up, I don't get it. Maybe I'm supposed to be on some sort of stealth mission but if I am it's very unclear to me. Don't I've got better ways to use my time than to play games that don't properly explain themselves?
Recomendo
The game's battle system is smooth and satisfying, with a wide variety of skills and abilities for players to use in combat. The game's story is lighthearted and enjoyable, and the character interactions are a highlight. One of the drawbacks of this game is that the game can feel a bit repetitive at times, with many of the missions and battles feeling similar to each other. Additionally, the game's difficulty can be a bit uneven, with some areas feeling too easy and others feeling overly difficult. Despite these issues, it is a solid action RPG that is well worth playing for fans of the genre.
4GO is a great franchise from Neptunia series. With it's quick hack and slash, unique abilities for every characters, wonderful BGMs, a simple story, it has pretty much everything for a great JRPG. Though the only downside is that at end-game ish, you will just be test with your reaction time to dodge/counter and stand still spamming abilities to kill bosses so it can be a bit boring later on. Otherwise, pick this up and adventure to your fullest with Neptune and others.
Gap review after 8 years: Finally, a neptunia game where the gameplay loop is not too bad. Story's a bit less intriguing, but hey, I platinumed it, so it can’t be that bad.
你给我涅普,我给你好评=w= 披着网游外壳的单机,虽然只有一个人,但还是会被可爱的角色和故事治愈到~
