Let me start by saying I've very much enjoyed this game. (I mean, I've played 510 hours, lol.) It has some of the best customization I've seen for a mecha game. One of its greatest features by far, is the separation of looks from stats. No clown-suiting, like in so many other games. How it looks vs how it performs is up to you. It's gameplay is enjoyable, in my opinion. However, do not expect this game to play like Armored Core. It's more of a horde/arcade battler. You can create a variety of builds, melee, ranged, both, tank, blitz and so on. However, the reason at the moment I cannot recommend the game due to several reasons. The first is a lot of things we the community have wanted, such as a combat rework and many other improvements have been denied and have shown an unwillingness to improve upon such systems. Secondly, perhaps due to a lot of negative comments and feedback they received in the Post 1.0.0 AMA Answers, they cut off communication entirely. They also had said in the Post-1.0.0 What's Next + AMA Announcement, that they'd provide a bi-monthly W.I.P.'s post 1.0.0., which has not happened. So six months later, no W.I.P.'s and the only contact on the Discord can say is: "The team is still working on it". (Note; not a direct quote.) There has been no updates or fixes for the many bugs that were introduced Post 1.0.0. as well, some of them being game/save breaking. I believe potential customers should be made aware of this, and so for these reasons until the next update is provided and/or the Dev's finally re-establish communication I believe my review should be and stay negative, as much as I'd prefer it not to be. If I am satisfied, I will be more than willing to change this to a positive review, and provide a more in-depth review of the game itself. If the Dev's do come across this review, I hope they will not see it and be discouraged. I have every faith that this is and can be a wonderful game, but a lack of communication hurts not only your credibility but also the community that has poured their heart and soul into this game. Regardless, I wish you well.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I want to love this game more because the customisation and building aspects are so fun and after the inital hurdle that is the UI design it can become an easy system to use. BUT MY GOD DOES THE GAMEPLAY SUCK. The combat is fun and playable with the melee weapons feeling very solid. but the story and missions feel as interesting as cardboard, and the bossfights are glorified bullet sponges with about 3 attacks each. Once you finish spending actual minutes wailing on the boss and finish a mission you then get to sit through countless dialogue boxes filled with characters saying nothing with too many words. After the ordeal of escaping the post mission dialogues you might want to go look at your skill tree and maybe upgrade your stats to make the aformentioned boss fights a bit less tedious. Instead you get 3 trees with little to no distinction between their purposes but theyre also so rediculously long and any actuall useful upgrades are walled behind a myriad of useless, minor stat improvements. Finally, the blueprints system to unlock new parts for your mech and weapons is promising at first, allowing you to passively make progress on unlocking new parts as you play through missions. Unfortunately, you also continue to pick up blueprints for parts you already have, meaning that after a certain point it actually begins to take longer to unlock parts, as your progress is bogged down by picking up previously unlocked blueprints. I am sad that I cant give a good, positive recommendation but the game just aint there yet. buy this game if you wanna make a cool, super detailed, custom mech. Don't buy this game if want a new armored core 6. (I'm still going to dump an unreasonable amount of time into this game in a very short period.)
I am only recommending this game to those who like building model kits and mech customization. The combat is not good and very janky but the amount of customization you can make in a mech is very satisfying.
Best G*ndam game currently on steam.
This is what I'd call the poor man's Armored Core. Definitely a Gunpla/Mecha fan's wetdream in terms of customization. You could spend hours on just customizing your Mech than playing the actual game. I know I did.
This game is great for building a dream mecha, but otherwise it really sucks. I wish it was better, but like it's not. Content outside of the building and customization is half serviceable at best. Not worth buying unless you're truly okay with a mediocre game wrapped around the best custom mech designer.
Left this alone for a while waiting for full release to see if it has fixed my main issue with it... and despite calling it a full release it hasn't. It's basically fantastic for virtual model building - but the game-play is incredibly poor. The main reason for this is that the controls are both overly complex for a relatively small set of actions, and inflexible. For instance, you have a melee button and a shoot ranged weapon button. So far, so normal. So why do they do nothing while you have the other type 'equipped'? If you're using melee weapons, if you press shoot - either nothing happens or you do a slightly different melee. Gun equipped, melee button does nothing. For a fast paced action game (which this claims to be), and where switching weapons is instant (as individually mapped controls for 4 weapon types) why then can't a swap and attack be the same button and action? Clearly the developers did not address their control scheme in testing or did not concentrate on accessibility or smoothness. Menus are equally impossible to navigate. The rest of the game could be fun if interacting with the basics of it weren't so abrasive.
While this is a promissing game and I had some fun, there was some un-fun moments.. After the AMA, the devs promissed updates (dev notes on their works).. even after a grace period, its been over 6 months in absolute silence.. Also considering their rude reply to their own AMA as a resounding "no, we are changing nothing".. I have to not recomend this game - a review to update latter if the devs ever break their silence with good words. my peeves: - The (lack of) Lock-on latency.. a thin post breaks lock on, considering one can multi-lock to shoot a swarm of missiles, their claim its ""flimsy on purpose, solely because of future pvp reasons"".. is BS, when they could limit such behaviour to other mass units.. - the balance discord on melee vs ranged They claim no rebalance due to conflicting feedback.. and chose to not listen instead of broadening the question (what points seem weak, what points seem too strong, find what builds then playtest themselves).. dual ranged weapons was not only suggested and refused bluntly for lazy reasons, it was on their kickstarter as part of the roadmap to begin with.. It is something that could self-balance in the end - it would double damage, yes, but also halve ammo and (at least) double reload times..
