In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.
In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.
Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

Really cool game. Definitely gave me Dead Space vibes and honestly I think I preferred this game. Minor spoilers ahead. I thought the time travel gameplay loop was cool, traversing an area thats gone to ruin then going back in time to before the apocalypse was really cool and seeing the protagonist in a crazy sci-fi suit walking through 1980's Poland in the snow is a really cool visual. The monsters were cool and the merging mechanic was a cool feature. Had some fun enough bosses however they did repeat like 2 of them which felt a bit odd given there was only like 6 or so bosses. Something I really felt was the lack of inventory space, I get that was intentional as is the case with many survival horrors but this inventory felt really small, basically all my upgrade items went towards expanding it until it was maxed out. I have a pretty decent PC but had a few performance issues, nothing major but just frame drops and stuttering in cutscene transitions again wasn't that bad but worth mentioning. Really cool story, nice distinct areas, great vibe and the music was really cool. Would recommend if you're a horror fan

Wow, what a ride! This is a phenomenal first realese, Bloober Team has so much potential! This game already was fanstastic 9/10, but I am sure they come up with even more fantastic games in the future, can't wait for Lazarus to be realeased. Grafics, story, gameplay, level design all top notch! Only the episodes seemed to haven been mixed together a bit random and the game shifts from a horror shooter to an action adventure, which is a great thing but could have started earlier in the game, cut seems become more and more later in the game wich feels slightly unbalanced. Great job team!
basically just a different flavor of Dead Space, but with a temporal theme.

Survival horror fans should definitely check out this title. It’s a blend of engaging gameplay, a story open to interpretation, well-executed ammo and resource management and atmospheric world design. Oh, and you can pet cats as well =^.^=
