About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

I really enjoyed this game. I believe that both the story and the gameplay were really fun and interesting. Now it is true that i encountered 1 small bug, while also the game happened to crash once right after. However though this wasn't a big deal because the game had autosaved like 2 minutes ago. Overall i believe this game is a 9/10 experience and would love to see the universe of Cronos getting 1 or 2 more games.
This game is amazing the details and the play through is awesome, they did great on the story telling not giving details but it keeps you hooked. Just wait what you find out at the end you'll be surprised. I'd say its a recommended game. two cons though, when your playing and you get in the chair to extract the essence, the game will crash if you have a setting called Pini turned on so just turn that off. (I have no idea what it even does.) also the game has a problem switching to my small monitor automatically for some reason and I have use my Nvidia control panel to turn off my second screen so I don't have to unplug it every time and you cant select witch monitor you want to play it on.
This was my first inventory management survival horror game, and I honestly enjoyed it. Cronos: The New Dawn feels like a happy marriage between Resident Evil and the first Dead Space. I played the game on GeForce NOW with a controller, and it ran well after a few minor graphics adjustments. Overall, the gameplay and story never overstayed their welcome, making for a well-paced experience. There are a couple of flaws, though these are strictly my personal opinions. By the middle of the game, you're much better equipped with stronger and more efficient weapons. Because of that, it felt like Bloober relied more on cheap jump scares and the Essence haunting. When it comes to horror games or movies, I prefer suspense that's built gradually rather than horror that depends on jump scares. Another issue was the navigation UI. Some sections require you to backtrack, but the map and navigation felt overly simplified and, at times, confusing. I often found myself getting lost while trying to figure out where to go next. Overall, despite those issues, I had a great time with Cronos: The New Dawn.
really enjoyed it. a blend of resident evil and deadspace, the graphics are great, gameplay really intense and claustrophobic. The atmosphere is spot on, very creepy. you constantly need to manage your ammo and inventory, every bullet counts. The story is a bit hazy, but very interesting (I watched videos to understand..). only downside is save mechanism, i had few times I had to repeat whole parts due to dying, which was frustrating. had one crash during early part of the game, but never had any issues since

Efectivamente no entendi una vrg la historia solo se que la exploradora es la chad le falta mas toques al combate pero esta muy bien creado los escenarios en efecto es cine 🚬🗿
Incredible game! Atmosphere is top notch, story is good, characters awesome. It's a gorgeous game, and it's smooth, no traversal stutter, no shader stutter, imersion isn't broken because of this. I bought the game late, thinking that it was a stutter fest, but it's not at all, unlike SH2 remake.... 9/10
