In its current state? I wouldn't buy it knowing what I know, not at full price. I'd recommend it ONLY if you buy it on heavy discount. The game looks beautiful. It's just the right amount of detail for this kind of game. They improved the characters a bit, giving them some more personality than in previous games. I guess they're a bit more jaded because this al happens BEFORE the previous games, so that too is a bit of a change I liked. I love the excerpts of history and explanations of why a particular mission is what it is and how it relates to actual events. Obviously none of these are historic. They're meant to be a game inspired by real events. And I like that a lot, but some narration of this would have been a bonus. But that's about it for positives. My negatives range from a small to huge. Gameplay is one big one, ngl, but not the biggest. It's workable. I only played on veteran and I just found myself re-doing all of the same moves over and over and over. I rarely found a use for anything else. My guys just end up dead after everyone within an unreasonable area just rushes me. It might just be my gameplay style, sure, but it never felt like I was incentivized to use the Tommy gun, or the silent pistol, or the pistols, grenades, mines... I can accomplish everything with a distraction, a lure and the bear trap or knives. And it's just a bit repetitive for me. In previous games I usually found a good use for most all of my gear, especially in Men of Courage. The stand out was the tank, but not in the best way. It was a refreshing change, but it was clunky and limiting in that every piece of wood could stop me, the techs trying to melee the Driver inside the tank pushed the tank around, like they had weight and physics etc. It's just strange. Music is another negative. A small but important one. It's just not very memorable. At all. I tend to play Men of Courage OST, or even Destination Berlin, just for the pleasure of vibing when I do chores or read. This one...eh. Small negative. But what breaks my game is the bugs and inconsistency. What i mean is these few repeating examples: 1. Spy can't pick up outfit because he can't reach it due to invisible wall in front of outfit. 2. Sapper's whistle triggers an NPC out of are of effect to bolt/b-line straight for him, see him and raise the alarm. 3. Floor visibility randomly changes and I have to find it in crucial moments or it just shifts the camera randomly to the roof and I cannot see the floor my selected commando is on. 4. NPCs seeing me from random elevations in locations where I am clearly in their striped view cones. There's also random jankiness in some spots, like being unable to select everyone if I also clip the minimap and then my selection square keeps reappearing for 5 or 6 times until it goes away. being unable to click on a Commando if there is another command in or around his space. Being unable to pick up random items or thrown items across the map. Stuff that just make it a huff-fest every time and it doesn't get fixed with a reload and it's just annoying.

awesome just remembered my old days i wish it comes more an more for forever in my life
Very fun, also in coop, would have been nice to have up to 4 players in coop....
OVERALL SUMMARY: Incredible game. It for sure triggers this childhood nostalgia feeling. Gritty feel. Menu button click sounds, explosions. And it's quite up to date with nowadays standards -- though not as 100% bug-free as the Mimimi games (Desperados 3, Shadow Gambit, etc.)... but that is TOTALLY OK. Excellent voice-overs. Really bond with the characters. Cutscenes pre-mission and post-mission and at times mid-mission are perfect; minimal yet at the right time to get that immersion feel. Different keyboard control configurations pre-sets. It's def worth the money and overall experience. There's an insane satisfaction when combo kills and maneuvers are pulled off successfully. Few examples: A - 2-person patrol squad: furthest enemy walks in a bear trap next to the bush which has to time with a slit throat attack at the exact same time with closest enemy. B - My sniper guy threw an empty shell, that way I could sneak up with sniper and sapper just around the corner, making sure the guy around the corner didn't have the vision cone on us, then activate combat-mode, then the sapper went for the throat-slit kill of the closest guy (that got distracted by my sniper's shell distraction), and the sniper himself snipes down the guy around the corner in the distance. C - Driver throws cigarette, which is then followed up by a whistle and bear trap combo from my sapper. Used this to quickly access the 3rd Flak AA site on Operation Harbinger (big desert airport mission). MY TIPS FOR BETTER GAME EXPERIENCE Few things that might be helpful for y'all: - For me the game really started in the mission when the marine was for the first time available. With normal load out (1x throw knife and 1x harpoon shot) he can from a distance kill 2 enemies quickly in full stealth. This adds when extra harpoon shots and knives are available and you combine it with a slit throat attack. Use pebbles for attention. - I key-bound middle mouse wheel button to camera rotation. Once this was enabled I was master of controlling when and however I wanted. - Once I complete a mission, I delete save-games from (all) previous mission(s). I stumbled upon an save file limit message and accidentally deleted my most recent save with mass deleting save games quickly. - Messed up a quick-save (alarm right away after loading? - Just delete this save game directly. - Drag dead body Mini movements. Pile them up. Better be safe then sorry. There's been times when I didn't see a patrol and suddenly a body got spotted. Drag them just around corners, hide them in the bushes. Micro movements helped me A TON. - Driver cigs are scarce resource. Usage is limited and cigs can not be retrieved once thrown. - One of my fav ways to kill: With 2 commandos aim at one enemy and double shoot single-hit an enemy with the Colt handgun (1 bullet is not enough to kill) and another one with heavy gun (sniper or driver) kill the other/s. - Press TAB to see where gates are controlled and what items are in the ammunition boxes. CURRENT ISSUES WITH GAME (NO DEALBREAKER FOR ME) Major issues and EASY workarounds (guys REALLY don't let this pull you off from NOT buying the game) ONE: Indoor vision cones mass drop in FPS => Once drop in FPS, quickly double-right-click any enemy (for quick activate and de-activate vision cones) to turn of vision cones for all. TWO: Save loading time: At times up to 20 seconds. This adds up at this type of game. Besides this, one suggested Quality of Life Improvements suggestion: - Avoid the toggle grenades option: Display both gas grenade (GBY) and normal grenades all the time. Team is still working on it all I believe. Latest patch just yesterday: July 1st 2026. CONCLUSION Worthy successor to the great series. 100%. Give this definitely a full try. First few missions it’s slightly frustrating but I promise you it’s only temporary. You don’t wanna miss out on this absolute gem. Edit add: Completed within 7-8 days. Today's date: July 5th 2026. It were some INTENSE 56 hrs, difficulty: Soldier. I got slightly emotional during the credits and music after the final mission. Guys, this is a must-buy. This game is made with a lot of passion and love.
Big fan.
best game ever ....... i love it ......
