For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Coming here as a veteran of the series, I'm satisfied with this instalment. Somethings could be better and less buggy for sure, but I was craving for a game like this. Commandos 2 Man of Courage is still my favourite and feels more complete than this one. Hoping that they do a Remaster of the old games with this engine and visuals, maintaining some of the old mechanics too.
- AI is stupid even on highest difficulty - Cannot finish mission Operation Aries because of crash in the end - A lot of grafic bugs and glitches - multi-platform missions are annoying - fix that game because it's shame
A proper return to form for the Commandos franchise, which has been dead for far too long - and perhaps the best game since Commandos 2: Men of Courage - if not on par. Just needs Mateo Pascual's soundtrack, and then it'd be perfect! A lot of the negative reviews seem to be from around the time the game itself launched, and more or less focus on bugs. Coming into it now, it feels like a very polished experience and I haven't come across any bugs. Controls (and mechanics) are indeed simplified to a degree, but I find it makes the game far more enjoyable for it - which is funny, since one of the negative reviews talks about how the game's mechanics are far too complicated...clearly they've never played Commandos 2 Hopefully this is the start of a new era for the franchise. Maybe we'll get a remake of BEL and Men of Courage? I certainly hope so. I'd love to play that with Origin's gameplay.
As a huge fan of the old Commandos Games (1-3). I am very disappointed and sorry to say: Nowhere close to the Masterpiece of Commandos 2. Everything is dumbed-down and adjusted for console play.
I heard about this game and was waiting for the bug fixes. On 28th April 2026, developers released the 1.6 bug fix patch. After 4 mission in, I can say the game is good, but little bit linear and not optimize properly (FPS). Anyways I am having fun and will buy the DLCs. 8/10
Before buying this game I first wanted to remember myself the first part - Beyond the Call of Duty - 20 years after I stopped playing it. I wanted to feel this climate and nostalgia again. So I passed all this game and then bought the Origins. And I must admit that Origins does a great job in every aspect. For a long-time Commandos fan like me it was a pleasure. The game does not have any defects except the minor ones that are acceptable and do not influence the game too much. Pros: - simply everything in game, perfect for a series fan - beautiful graphics, - old-new commandos characters with great features (finally every commandos has a quiet-kill option, so you dont't need to pass 90% of every mission with Green Beret), - very nice story and some interesting plot twists Cons: - a bit low variety of enemies (please, please Claymore... make some Japanese and Italian missions as well in next DLCs :)) - some bugs in Marine-Sniper night mission, where the movie-killed German officer suddenly appers to stand alive at the top of the car next to the building, or the rescued sailors run and instantly kill all the enemies on their way - Please fix it because it influenced (otherwise great) playing experience of this mission. - minor graphics issues somentimes appear to the killed enemies. It does not bother too much, but fixing it would improve the overall player experience. - You could add bit more climate black-and-white wartime movie clips with lector in between the missions to build up the climate like in first Commandos games. This would be, I guess, low cost and highly appreciated by the fans :) - You could as well add some old Commandos music into the missions. Origins has not very good music in missions comparing to the older parts. Again - low cost and great gain if you made this change! SUMMING UP: The game is near perfect, but I would love to see the changes I wrote above. I wait for the next tematical DLCs in Italy, Asia, France, USSR or anywhere else. The game has great potential and it's very good it has not ended in 1945, but much earlier.
I loved all the old Commandos games but this is impossible to recommend. Controls are wonky, game stutters, basic soldier animations look like the game is still WIP. It has promise and I love the series but this is not it. The original Commandos game runs smoother than this. Commandos 2 is far better. Might give this a go in the future if they keep working on it.
