About
Play your role in the life-filled medieval world controlled by players. MMORPG full of details that create a unique immersion and the spirit of adventure!
Become the best builder, blacksmith, fisherman, healer, alchemist, baker, sailor, tanner, trader, farmer, jeweler and anything else. But getting the Master's Mark requires perseverance and knowledge. In Wild Terra, you cannot create equipment in one click.
Catch, tame and grow rare species of animals. As they level up, pets receive random bonuses. It will take luck or hard work to put together the perfect combination.
Join groups, create guilds, or play solo. Hunt huge bosses and explore dark dungeons! Build, evolve and travel to PvP and PvE zones. Or you can challenge and go to mysterious continents with a variety of biomes, inhabitants and conditions, for example, to an Plague Island.
Whatever you use, the skill level of that increases. The game has many non-combat and battle skills, a variety of melee and ranged weapons, each with its own active and passive abilities. There are no pre-selected classes in Wild Terra. What you have in your hands determines your role in combat. And thanks to the non-target combat system, your skill is as important as your equipment.
You decide whether to risk your loot or stay in safe zones. Also, in any dungeon, you can choose the difficulty from Easy to Nightmare. The rewards justify the risk, but the decision is yours!

With almost 2000 hours played I will say it is a great game but that needs much polishing. On the contrary of other games that are RPGs with a side of tinkering, this game is a game of tinkering with a side quest of hunt for ingredients. So many skills you can work on, I was doing them all with great passion. Here are a few down sides I have encountered in this game that has so much potential. 1) One problem is that as you grow your skills, you have everything else that brings you to your level of skill, to take care of or make, and it quickly becomes extremely time consumming. To give you an exemple, I had to log in during 2 hours every morning before heading to work just to set my stuff for the day like feeding the animal farms, having my kiln filled and turned on, making the ingredients to put in leather vats, etc. No hunting, no mining... just setting with some occasional ''go to town to claim my finished quest rewards from last night''. So lets say you get chickens, then when you have enough experience you get rabbits, then boars, and then cows. Well when you are at cows, you still have to take care of every other animal before if you want to make sure that you have them for materials or for quests. At one point, you will need iron, TONS of iron. You will go through a dangerous (and frustrating) poorly designed gorge where if you die (easily) and do not get your corpse within 30 min you lose all your inventory, to access the mines to get the precious material. As you gain experience and your blacksmith skills grow, you will NEED even more iron, and if eventually you will want to start engineering, the need for the metal gets even worst. And there is no place where you get more drops, like bigger rewarding mines in higher level areas but you will get new type of ore there. So you spend your whole day grinding and grinding again the same random mine to get ore that you quickly use. Not to mention all the iron you will need for the guild quests. At some point you will not be able to do it all, either your grind for quests or for skills (like new armor), and I am talking of many hours of grind. Obviously, meanwhile you can not do anything else, like quest or hunt. So you have to pick, what you do today, you can not do it all. 2) The adversaries you encounter can be rare. Let me explain. Lets say for exemple that someone goes at the Mountain and climbs it to the top to get to the dungeon. Well you just need ONE player that makes the trip and kills everything on his path (like almost everyone does) that there is no enemies left in that area, for all other players of the server during 20 minutes. More often than not, you go there, you have a quest, like ''kill 10 huge boars'', but there is no boars available to hunt, and you have to wait running up and down the mountain, hopping no one else finds a prey before you. In the same way, many quests requires to kill bears (this one is the most repetitive and annoying quest of all), they will even include this quest once more during special events, like Easter! (so much for variety of quests). There is 3 bears in a particular forest, so you go to the forest, and if you are lucky enough to find a bear (with a few partners because they can be tough at the begining), you have to kill it fast before the other players around does it. If there is no bears, then you run around wasting lots of time to try to find some (just like other players are doing as well). So basically, you have 3 bears in a forest, for the whole server, to do a quest to kill 3 bears... with a respawn time of 15 minutes. Oh and if you die in that area and do not get your corpse within 30 minutes, you lose your inventory, been there, done that! I saw players quit because of losing it all, just after acquiring a hard to get exotic item that required many weeks of work. Polishing! 3) Although there is an auction house system that exists, it is almost dead, very hard to make profit that way, especially when your skills becomes more costy in ingredients as they improve and gold is much needed and scarce. You will see a small raise in sells when the game is on special or free, and then it will die again, once all those new explorers leave. 4) The rewards for the quests are seldom worth it. Like ''bring me 50 silver worth of this or that for this 10 silver reward'' . The majority of the quests are not done because of this. Polishing! 5) I had 20 players on my friend list: maybe 2 were players that helped me get back a corpse of mine, all the others were players I traded with. I started playing in December 2025 and since April or May 2026, there is zero players on my list that have been online and this since many weeks. Everyone left the game with no exception. I followed shortly after... 6) Improving the skills becomes a very tedious goal in itself. As your skill level increases, the harder it becomes to continue increasing it, either because of cost, or lack of ingredients (like iron), or harder access monsters (fighting skills) not to mention just the amount of exps required to level a skill. I love challenges, but it has to make sense. The time required for these skills is ridiculous ... well lets just say players leave. 7) Improving exotic weapons and armors. Unfortunately, like the repetition of the bears quest, no matter what you need to improve, you always need the basic same items to better your exotic items: the hard to get different bloods for third level. Everyone needs those same ingredients (at level 3 and some other different ingredients at level 4) so they become scarce in the auction house, or if there are some, they are available at an insane price. Money that you do not have because you can't sell anything and your armor becomes very expensive to repair as it improves. If different items were needed to improve different weapons/armors, it could give a chance, but nope... all the same items. And if it isn't the hard to find blood, it will be the hard to get birch tar, as an example, a rare drop that requires at least 10 birch trees to be cut to find one,if lucky, and you will need 50 of them as one ingredient among others. This is for level 3. The ingredients needed for level 4 (max level) are world bosses drop and pretty much always the same ingredients as well, the shards. You need 5 of each type of shard, so 20 shards plus other ingredients, to only improve ONE item. Are you getting the picture how many world bosses you need to kill and split loot amongs a full team to upgrade your item? 8) The bosses. Well there are bosses a bit all over the world that requires, normaly a full party to kill (5 players) until you become powerful enough to duo them or even solo them if you have top gear and skills and pets. But the problem is that they respawn every one hour and half. So basically you have players that go all around the world killing all bosses and they know exactly when certain bosses will respawn, so they will be back a few minutes before the respawn and keep farming them like that. So you rarely get a chance to kill a boss, unless by any chance no one is around to kill it and you can improvise and find 4 other friends online at that same unexpected time. In all my experience I only got to kill one easy world boss , the Ent, a few times. Required for level 3 upgrade. I never could kill other world bosses and I made a guild that was in top 3rd position in ranking by the time I quit. So basically the game is new, and is interesting at the beginning, but be warned, it is extremely time consuming and will become repetitive, especially as your skills grow (skill level 40+). So if you have no devotion (patience), or you like fast rewards, I say this is not a game for you. I LOVE challenges, but this game although has a lot of potential, like I said, it needs polishing to keep the interest of the players and make it less frustrating. The exp curbe needs adjusting.
This game is actually too dumb to play. No joke. No exaggeration. I got it during the get it free and keep it promotion. It's no wonder they have to give it away because my god would I have refunded this so quick. So you can't even complete the TUTORIAL. Your very starter tutorial. Why you ask? Because you're supposed to claim a tiny plot of land to make a camp. You can't do that because every single square inch of land has been claimed on the starter island. There is literally NO place to put your campe. and because of that you can never finish. You can't progress. You can't store things. You can't sleep. You can't save. You just can't. Go to a different starter island? oh god I wish I could. But there aren't any. there is only ONE starter island instance per server. I looked this up and this has happened BEFORE multiple times in this game and the developers never bothered to do anything about it knowing it would happen again. The community fix for this is literally just "wait a few months until people stop playing the game". amazing. 10 out of 10 worst devs Ive ever seen.
The Wild Terra 2 developers decided to do a free giveaway but forgot that welcoming new players requires actual working infrastructure, not a potato server thrown together on a knee. Gifting a game only to kick people back to the lobby with a "Connection lost" error right at character creation is a technical disgrace. If a studio can't handle a stable first launch and falls flat on its face during basic authorization, then this giveaway is utterly worthless. If you don't know how to manage traffic and take a hit from an influx of players, don't make an MMO.
It’s wild this dropped back in 2022. The graphics are retro n straight up bad, controls feel totally janky, interaction bugs pop up nonstop, n exploring is just no fun at all. It’s also insanely grindy. Gathering n crafting take forever. I only played two hours n I swear I aged 20 years.
⏳🌲 I spent a few hours playing Wild Terra 2: New Lands, and the game left a very positive impression. What I liked most was the authentic survival atmosphere: you gradually build your own settlement, gather resources, and develop your character at a comfortable pace without feeling rushed. 🏕️⚒️ ✨ One of the best aspects is that every item you obtain feels valuable, and every bit of progress feels truly earned. This makes achievements much more satisfying and keeps the gameplay engaging. 🎮💪🌿
Spent first 40 minutes searching for an empty space to build. 10/10 will never play again.
I would say it's a great game with potential. And honestly, I don't think it requires the 'MMO Experience'. Maybe make it so players can host the servers themselves. Give us solo/co-op options due to the severe server restrictions. As it stands, you are forcing us to buy a game (which I'm assuming nobody does, and why it was free multiple times this past year), and then hoping we spend a few hundred dollars on your MTX shop. Which is abhorrently overpriced. The game will kill itself in an attempt to push a working online model, when it could ship as a survival game (solo/co-op with optional pvp elements) and probably thrive on unit sales alone. Hopefully the developers can see the abysmal >10% of players who get off the starter island and realize there's something wrong with their marketing strategy. Glad I got it for free, will see what enjoyment I can get from it before I hit the "pay wall" they are trying to force so you buy premium currency.
I have tried 3 different servers to find a place to build a base and get past the beginner session. I have walked more miles than the pretenders and watched a whole series on Netflix in the meantime. (Accused with Sean Bean It was great). Anyways I never got to build a base so I have no idea how the rest of this game is. I wont be playing again
Game seems fun enough, if not a bit jank. Ended up dropping it because the food mechanic is just plain annoying. Eating 5 different types of food every few mins just so you can run around, is just busy work that doesn't add anything to the experience.
This feels frustrating: if you create a character on one server, then that server becomes full, switching to another server still shows the Create button. That should be fixed so players can access their existing character.
