Early Access is Early Access I suppose. There's not much here (yet), but what is here is very good. I may write a more detailed review later when the game is finished (or when Early Access has more content), but I don't regret my purchase and I can clearly see that Stellar Jockeys are on the right path with what they've got. Keep up the good work!
Very early access.
Its a good game but this early access kinda sucks, none of the cooler stuff like the Mog or Speed tank is here even though they tease it in the demo missions. SJs could have definitely gone harder with this early access. Wait till it releases tbh.

i love this game the base building the story hope we can capture AAlto and make her a slave in our base hehehe...
Fun game! If you don't want to spend $25 on a game with mixed reviews play the demo.
Rushing to the conclusion; only purchase right now if you are keen on supporting the devs or want an early glimpse at what's being made. At the time of writing this is very much a work in progress with lots of rough edges and placeholder visual assets. Essentially what you get is a story prologue and some sandbox missions. This isn't an unpolished complete release, it's the bones of something potentially great still being built on. With that out of the way, the foundation here is promising. The tone, setting and most of the gameplay feel like a satisfying evolution for the series. The more personal, ground level focus adds a lot for me. Outside of that though glitches are still quite common, in my case, disappearing inventory, guns and ammo. I want to see the massive promise of this one realised so I'm dropping a positive review as encouragement for Stellar Jockeys to make that happen. In the meantime, I'm probably going to put it down for a while and come back when it's in a significantly more developed place.
This is a great early access game, Difficult and rewarding. This game holds back no punches.
i'm having an absolute blast so far. i love it.
(EDIT: This review was originally a not recommend, but I realized that all I talked about were things that are probably changing very soon. I really like this game, my frustration is soon (hopefully) not going to be justified.) I'm seeing all of the negative reviews regarding the difficulty scaling, UI polishing and etc. I'm fine with the UI and inventory system, there are scuffed, but I got used to it. And sure, The difficulty is indeed very high at the moment, but I was having fun with it anyways, I'm usually very inclined for a difficult challenge. HOWEVER. I've hit a colossal road block. And by "road block" I mean the entire road was removed and replaced with mud, spikes, landmines, the wrath of Zeus, and motion-detector hydrogen bombs. How the HELL am I supposed to kill an army of infantry with shielded rigs and powersuits (they can't be stunned) while I'm myself basically running around naked (THERE ARE NO RIGS AVAILABLE FOR THE PLAYER TO USE) as soon as I get out of my (Recently exploded) Uparmored APC (Strongest vehicle available at this point in progression apparently) that blew up in .3 seconds because ONE guy with whateverthehell energy weaponry shot at it's general direction?? Also apparently THERE'S A ROUNDER which I'm supposed to destroy as the mission objective after I get past the actual unpassable wall of FUC***G SPACE MARINES. Please tell me I'm doing something wrong because this is just utterly ridiculous. "Here child, grab this stick. Now go kill God" I was super excited to buy and play the game, I have only recently finished the demo, and now I find out that apparently there is just much more content in the demo?? Either that or there will be a fabricator upgrade or a new base or something after this PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE MISSION. whaaaaaaaaaaat theeee heeeeeelll maaaaaan
Wildly good. It's a mix of fallout 1/2, Xcom Apocalypse, Tarkov and Brigador.
