Breathedge is entertaining in the best way—its whacky tone and weird sci‑fi survival vibe can be genuinely fun. But my experience is consistently undermined by frustrating design choices, especially early on, and that frustration sticks with me throughout. The opening section is the worst for me. The “air lock” entrance feels extremely hard and glitchy, and most of the time it takes multiple attempts just to get moving. Instead of pulling me into the game, it makes me feel stuck fighting the mechanics. Even when I manage to progress, everything feels slightly off from the start, which sets a bad tone right away. On top of that, I don’t feel the game gives clear instruction. It pushes you into building and crafting, but it doesn’t consistently explain what items are for or why certain components matter. Item descriptions also come across as intentionally confusing—parody-like to the point where it’s hard to tell what’s actually useful versus what’s just clutter. And something that would have made a huge difference is a proper map. Without it, navigation and figuring out where to go (and what you’re doing there) becomes unnecessarily hard and time-consuming, which makes the early-game frustration even worse. Finally, there’s just too much useless junk. There are lots of items that don’t meaningfully contribute to progression, story, or user experience. Instead of making crafting feel satisfying and readable, the constant irrelevant clutter makes everything feel noisy and pointless, and it dilutes the sense of purpose. I can genuinely tell the game has potential—its concept is exactly the kind of bizarre survival idea that could be great if the onboarding and systems were tightened. I’d love to see improvements focused on fixing glitchy early entry, adding clearer guidance (and a usable map), clarifying item purpose, and reducing filler clutter so the game’s weird charm can actually shine instead of being dragged down by frustration.

Not too bad, it's like Subnautica but in space. Second part of the game somewhat differs when you leave the first region but overall good game I enjoyed it. It's not 60 hours long, bought it early access and replayed the first region. Looking forward to the second one..!
