Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 38.86/day in the week to Aug 28 → 34/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

The visuals and atmosphere were great except it is constantly ruined by the garbage humor. It is charming at first but quickly disappears after even half an hour. Menus also badly need work imo.
Breathedge is entertaining in the best way—its whacky tone and weird sci‑fi survival vibe can be genuinely fun. But my experience is consistently undermined by frustrating design choices, especially early on, and that frustration sticks with me throughout. The opening section is the worst for me. The “air lock” entrance feels extremely hard and glitchy, and most of the time it takes multiple attempts just to get moving. Instead of pulling me into the game, it makes me feel stuck fighting the mechanics. Even when I manage to progress, everything feels slightly off from the start, which sets a bad tone right away. On top of that, I don’t feel the game gives clear instruction. It pushes you into building and crafting, but it doesn’t consistently explain what items are for or why certain components matter. Item descriptions also come across as intentionally confusing—parody-like to the point where it’s hard to tell what’s actually useful versus what’s just clutter. And something that would have made a huge difference is a proper map. Without it, navigation and figuring out where to go (and what you’re doing there) becomes unnecessarily hard and time-consuming, which makes the early-game frustration even worse. Finally, there’s just too much useless junk. There are lots of items that don’t meaningfully contribute to progression, story, or user experience. Instead of making crafting feel satisfying and readable, the constant irrelevant clutter makes everything feel noisy and pointless, and it dilutes the sense of purpose. I can genuinely tell the game has potential—its concept is exactly the kind of bizarre survival idea that could be great if the onboarding and systems were tightened. I’d love to see improvements focused on fixing glitchy early entry, adding clearer guidance (and a usable map), clarifying item purpose, and reducing filler clutter so the game’s weird charm can actually shine instead of being dragged down by frustration.

Have you ever thought to yourself: "Man, do i love running back to this DS1 boss Bed of Chaos, this is my favorite part of the game". No? You haven't? Well, these devs decided that everybody would love a game that consists of at least 65% of run backs. You might be thinking, "tHat mEanS yOu aRe a FiltHy lOot goBlin", sure friend, whatever you say. But let me parry this real quick. This game has like 10 different tools for various resource collection. Then, all of those tools have around ~20 uses, which at most means 20 pieces of resources, but usually the conversion rate is much lower than 1to1. Furthermore, half of those tools require resources that you must collect using another type of tool, which might requires some other tool-specific resources. See what i'm getting at? And your inventory capacity definitely does not make your life a walk in the space-park. Playing Breathedge feels like working in a coal mine in 1800s, you are always out of breath (pun intended), and you keep going back and forth just to get those stupid resources because your minecart can't hold much coal with you and your tools inside of it. And a lack of oxygen makes you mad to the point where committing sudoku seems like a decent alternative. There's good in this game too, sometimes funny spacesuit AI is making constant fun of you and your intelligence as a character (maybe as a player too if you are not the sharpest tool in the shed, like me), jokes about how dumb some of the corpses must've felt like dying in stupidest ways. But slightly funny sidekick does not cover all of those painful hours of me going in circles hauling pocketfuls of resources. Semi-sentient coffins that are powered by decaying corpses inside of them is funny af, i'll give them that. If i could rate this game, it would have gotten a 4.9 from me, just barely below mediocre. Kind of hoping humanity invents time machine so i can go into the past and download another game. I'm still going to try the second game, hopefully the devs finally got sober and added some basic qol stuff.
