1300元台幣,其實是中等價位,不算太貴 預算充足,又喜歡劍星和尼爾自動人形的玩家可以原價嘗試 其實不太虧 如果你覺得現在"褒貶不一"的整體評價,以及多數"優化不佳"評價非常令人在意 加上預算又不足 可以等特價 總之,我建議是不要錯過這款,無論你要原價或特價都行 ===== Quick disclaimer first: Steam only shows GPU, CPU, RAM, and OS, so I’m not 100% sure whether storage plays any hard role in the issues people are reporting. My system has an 8TB M.2 SSD. Also, most of the performance complaints I’ve seen (stuttering, crashes, etc.) simply never happened to me, so I’m setting those aside for this review. I don’t know much about the studio’s previous work either, so that stays out of the picture as well. Now, about the game itself. I don’t really care if it’s a “Frankenstein” mash-up of mechanics. In this era it’s extremely hard for any new game to avoid drawing from existing gameplay types, and I can accept that reality. Combat feels light rather than heavy and meaty, but it’s very flashy and still has solid, satisfying feedback. It doesn’t deliver that raw “fist-to-flesh” impact, yet the hit response is well done. The soundtrack immediately reminded me of two games famous for their beautiful music — *Stellar Blade* and *NieR:Automata*. That’s a compliment, not a dig. The music here is genuinely good and stays pleasant even after repeated listens. I’ve only finished the prologue and Chapter 1 so far. The story has already hooked me. It’s not overly cryptic or pretentious; the opening does a solid job of making you want to keep going. Art style is purely subjective, so I won’t critique it. Personally I can accept and enjoy what the game is presenting. **So, should you buy it?** At *US$40 , it’s a mid-range price — not cheap, but not overpriced either. If your budget is comfortable and you already like *Stellar Blade* and *NieR:Automata*, I think full price is a reasonable try. You’re unlikely to feel completely ripped off. If the mixed reviews and the frequent “poor optimization” comments make you hesitant, and money is tighter, then waiting for a sale is the safer move. Bottom line: don’t completely miss this one. Whether you grab it at launch price or on discount later, I still think it’s worth experiencing.

The first hour honestly felt like "game journalist mode." You can just spam attacks and barely take any damage. After that, the game keeps getting better and better. The story gradually unfolds through flashbacks that explain what's going on, the enemy variety increases, and there's a surprising amount of extra content. You can cook, grow food, hatch chickens, and there's always something to do besides combat. There are also a lot of skills, which makes progression feel rewarding. Performance has also been excellent. Even on Ultra settings with ray tracing enabled and without any upscaling, I consistently get over 90 FPS. If the developers fix a few bugs, like the settings resetting or the dog teleporting to you way too often, this would easily be a 10/10 game for me. P.S. The English voice acting feels completely out of place because of the heavy British accents. I couldn't get immersed and switched back to the original Japanese voices after a short time.
Imagine my surprise when some items that Koo can use suddenly had actual pictures/icons instead of just his head. If those hadn't appeared after the last patch, I would have thought it was a design-choice, but now it feels like another section of the game that wasn't finished in time and got stitched together? I would write something else, but just like this game, that could have been perceived as "repetitive" or "badly executed".
Don't waste your time and money on this game. It is a worse version of stellar blade in my opinion. Gameplay: The beginning of this game is fun for first few hours since everything is fresh and combat is also good. But there is no enemy variety and the same 3-4 bosses are reused which ends up making the best part of this game (combat) feel bland. There is no point in exploring any of the areas as there aren't any real rewards. At most you might get some extra upgrade material but that's about it. During the later half of the game I just stopped exploring all together and just ran it down to the boss so that I could clear the area. There is a food mechanic in the game which feels like an after thought and feels like it has no impact what so ever. Story: The story is so boring. It super slow and has a lot of un-skippable cut scenes. The characters have zero emotions. They just stand still and talk. Not to mention there are parts of the game where you are playing and a character is talking in background which locks you out of doing anything besides walking in circles until they finish speaking.
Beast of Reincarnation is a game I genuinely enjoyed overall, even if it has some rough edges. The combat system is easily the highlight for me: the different skills, arrows, bolts and simple-but-satisfying combos feel great to use and kept me engaged throughout the whole game. The story itself is actually very interesting, and the worldbuilding is fantastic. The mix of post‑apocalyptic, medieval and fantasy elements creates a setting that really pulled me in. But the way the story is told… that’s where the game lost me a bit. Every character feels strangely emotionless, the cutscenes lack energy or inspiration, and after a while I honestly found myself zoning out during the long dialogue sections. It’s a shame, because the underlying story is good — it just isn’t presented in a way that keeps you awake. The maps also feel a bit lifeless, and the enemy variety is unfortunately very limited. Small spoiler warning:
One thing that frustrated me a lot is how boss fights sometimes end. You beat a boss fair and square, get its HP to zero, and then a cutscene plays where your character suddenly gets destroyed as if the fight never happened. This happens more than once and really kills the sense of achievement.
In the end, I think this game deserves a neutral rating — something between “recommended” and “not recommended”. I truly hope the developers keep going, don’t lose motivation, and maybe address these issues in a future installment, because the foundation here is genuinely strong.
I don't care what anyways says this game is great and yes, I beat it, but if you feel it might not be for you, wait for a sale and when you play do not give up in the first few chapters. Give it a good chance; also, by the time you play, some things might be fixed, and it might be even better. another thing is the game ran great for me
Game is definitely not worth 60 bucks. I've returned it. wait for a sale maybe
