About

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is the RTS videogame adaptation of Games Workshop’s classic tabletop game, pitting the Chaos, Imperium, Eldar, and Orks against each other in visceral space-battles.
Developed with Unreal Engine 4, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada offers deep management of every ship composing the player’s fleet, both during and between battles. From the fastest frigates to the gigantic, miles-long battleships, the player will customize all aspects of his ships: weaponry, defense and support sub-systems, but also crew, captains, and more... each customization affecting the very performances of the ship and the special abilities available during battle. From battle to battle, the admirals and crew of surviving ships will gain experience and promotions, improving the battle-readiness of the ships for future, bigger and more dangerous battles.
Additionally an extensive multiplayer mode with persistent fleets where up to 4 players can battle simultaneously, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada also features a big story campaign, taking place during the 12th Black Crusade and putting players in the middle of the Gothic War that raged between the Imperium and Abaddon the Despoiler. Players will be at the centre of every fight, commanding fleets of gigantic ships as the Chaos unleash a sequential chain of surprise attacks on Imperium worlds – the start of 20 years of warring in the sector.

An expansive single-player campaign across the Gothic sector.
Four factions to command, each one with its own strengths and skills.
Tactical PVP multiplayer offering infinite replayability.
A huge array of authentically recreated Battlefleet Gothic ships.
A real-time strategy experience retaining many of the tactical Battlefleet Gothic elements.
A plethora of lore-abiding skills to fill the player’s arsenal.

Fun combat, decent story. The physicality of the ships and the ability to ram is pretty unique, although I wish this was more pronounced in the interface
A great tactical ship game in the 40k universe. Love how you need to manuevere your ships to present your broadside or fire torpedoes or when to board a ship. Love managing your ships and crew upgrades. Really like the different missions you undertake from depending a supply convey to taking out a specific ship. I also love how you unlock the biggest and heavily armed battleships. It really does feel like powerful unit in the battle. Overall this is enjoyfully game in the "age of sails" tactis with the 40k aethestics.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

6/10 tha gameplay is somewhat plausable, but the cinematics videos are unskippable and are rendered in 180p, i can count pixels in them and audio is too loud the space itself is flat and has no depth in, u cant go under or over just flat homeworld is similar game but has more depths in it, better try some homeworld
This game seriously lacks balance. The Orks just soak damage and the Imperial ships just do next to none. Even on the easy setting, the battles are incredibly painful to play. Shame as it started it out well.
This game is friggin' impossible, specifically escort missions. If you like brutally hard on easy mode, then this game is for you. Otherwise, pass, and save yourself some money.
A review, ten years too late, lol. And... I really once again wish Steam had a 'not yes but not no either' option. I put fifty+ hours into this game on release and eventually uninstalled it. I was a huge fan of the tabletop game, and ultimately, Armada was good but not quite what I wanted. But, it's not BAD, overall, it's just off the mark in a number of small but significant places. 1) Not Armadas. --Quite simply, the fleets you control in BFG:A are miniscule, and even at the maximal size you eventually reach are smaller than the 1000 points which would be considered 'on the small side of average' for the tabletop game. Balancing that, each ship is much more detailed than the ones in tabletop, but you'll almost never have more than three or four, making the engagements feel extremely small. 2) Mission Design (it's not very good) --The designers added quite a few different types of mission to the tabletop, trying to add more ways to win (and lose) than just 'blow up the other guy's ships'. This is laudable, but Data Steal and Convoy in particular are extremely swingy, and victory feels essentially random rather than a matter of an admiral's skill. 3) Reloading after You Lose (it's not easy) --Given that there are mission types which feel essentially random in your ability to complete them, reasonable players might want to reload their progress and try the mission again. While there is a 'retry mission' option INSIDE missions, as soon as the 'defeat' screen appears, there's no way to restart until you've returned all the way to the campaign mission and heard the beginning of the NPC's speech berating you for your failure. Then you'd better hope you saved or that the autosave is feeling generous. Once you've reloaded and started again, if it's a story mission, you have to watch the opening shots of the ships flying around and listen to the same dialogue over again, with absolutely no way to skip it or even just make them shut up while the game loads. 3. The Campaign Feels Bad --The reason they probably made re-doing missions such a pain is that you're allowed to, and kind of expected to fail missions. The problem is that, due to the (entirely narratively appropriate) tension of the story the campaign is telling you, you get VERY few opportunities to act each campaign turn, and you suffer stacking penalties you can't completely get rid of. This is also a problem, since there's no BENEFIT to holding every planet in the sector, only penalties for failing to. Again, this is narratively appropriate, but feels terrible as you watch penalties stack up and all you can do is decide which ones to try to mitigate (and hope that you get missions you can reasonably win). Overall the game is quite atmospheric and gets the appropriate feel of what it must be like to be an Imperial Admiral trying to defend a sector against a massive invasion and attacks by various pirates (it feels like even when you win, you're still losing), as well as having a good array of ships and being a good simulator of ship combat. But your 'battlefleet' is tiny and the non-gameplay experience is 'acceptable' at best. Armada 2 fixes basically all of these and is totally worth your money, though.
tres bon jeux
