Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 1 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Immerse yourself in Astrometica, a space exploration and base-building survival game.
After an explosion at a mining space station, you awaken inside an emergency pod adrift in the vastness of space. To survive, you must harness your skills, explore the endless universe, and search for other survivors’ emergency pods or outposts.
Experience the thrill of exploring the vastness of space with cutting-edge technology. Navigate through asteroid belts, mysterious cosmic anomalies, and abandoned space stations using a variety of vehicles specially designed for deep space travel. Discover hidden secrets and uncover the mysteries of the cosmos as you chart a course through the unknown. Every corner of space holds a new discovery, whether it's a new resource, a signal from another survivor, or a piece of lost technology waiting to be found.
Build and expand your own bases across the stars. In Astrometica, base building is key to your survival and exploration. Construct modular bases to serve as safe havens, research facilities, or resource gathering outposts. Automate mining operations to extract valuable resources from asteroids and deposits. Design your bases to be both functional and fortified, ensuring they can withstand the harsh conditions of space and potential threats. As you explore, you'll unlock new blueprints to further enhance and customize your bases, making each outpost uniquely yours.
Equip yourself with a variety of tools to mine for essential resources and salvage valuable materials. Craft and upgrade tools like drills, mining lasers, and scrappers to efficiently gather resources needed for survival and expansion. The more you explore and mine, the more you uncover rare materials that can be used to create advanced technologies and powerful equipment. Your tools are your lifeline in space; maintaining and upgrading them is crucial to your survival and success in the unforgiving environment of deep space.
Utilize advanced scanning tools to survey your surroundings and discover new blueprints and technologies. When you come across other survivors' outposts or wreckages, use your scanner to analyze fragments and gain insights into new crafting recipes and tech upgrades. Scanning isn't just about finding new gear—it's about piecing together the story of what happened and understanding the universe around you. With each scan, you get closer to unraveling the mysteries of Astrometica and finding the means to thrive in space.
Astrometica is more than just survival—it's about exploring the unknown, building a life among the stars, and uncovering the secrets hidden in the vast cosmos.

Recommended but with some caveats. The early game is fun with a fair amount to explore and an emphasis on building and finding resources and upgrades that allow you to build more things and to explore more dangerous areas. Common survival crafting/exploration mechanic. I like this kind of game, and their call outs to other games in the genre, such as subnautica and Planet Crafter. It's a lot like Subnautica 1, but in space. The game is in EA, from what I gather from comments it has been over a year since there have been anything in the way of updates. This wasn't obvious, as many of the guides and videos on the web seem to be referencing an older version of the game (calling the vehicle a summon, instead of seeker, for instance). The community seems to be a bit more closed mouth or evasive about walkthroughs and discussion of game issues when they come up, but the slow pace of development may be the reason for this. The developers made a recent announcement back in July that a new update is coming "this summer," which gives them one more month to deliver. There is a fairly glaring issue, though, and that is that the game is pretty buggy, even for EA. I don't mean the kinds of visual glitches or laggy gameplay kinds of things. It's actually quite solid in that respect, but their save and death system is pretty buggy, and that has led to a couple of progress-stalling issues that leave little option to restart the entire game and hope it goes better next time. Like many survival crafting games, it only allows one save. A new save is over your older save, so you can't go back to an earlier save. I assume this is to discourage save scumming, though there really isn't much of an RNG in this game to encourage that (chest content seems set, for instance). But if your save gets bugged, you're out of luck. If you die and reload because your attempts to reclaim your "death chest" aren't going well, there is a good chance your game will be bugged with no opportunity to go back to an earlier save point. This is frustrating and hopefully will be fixed in the next update. The preview videos for the upcoming content release looks like it will add a lot of new material to the game, much of which looks really fun, but it does appear that they are taking the game in a more combat intensive direction than the norm for the genre. It looks almost as if it will be more of an action/adventure or shooter type game, though it's hard to tell what percentage of game play will involve shooting things from a trailer. I hope not, as in most survival crafting games I've played, one deals with enemies in more limited ways (using one's wits, or only access to crude weapons, or even having to avoid enemies or run away), and they aren't nonstop combat fests. This last is something to consider, depending on one's tastes and level of skill at shooter type games.

First off, the game is fun and absorbing. You can get into playing very easily, a little tricky in the beginning with gathering resources and managing O2 and what not but still a ton of fun. Yes the updates have been slow and they communicate more on Discord than Steam. It is early access, we all know what that means so don't pretend this one is different cuz it ain't. Buy it on a sale and BAM! You got a good game at hopefully a good price and if they continue the updates, you scored. If you get it cheap and they don't update, well how many games do you have like that already, cuz I got a few.... I am certainly not gonna argue with any of you guys about a game. Some will like it, some will not....Play well friends we are all gamerz............
All critism is invalid this game was developed during a godamn war.
No updates.
Great game that has in places exceeded Subnautica that it takes its inspiration from. Hope it does better!
1年アップデート無しかぁ。 期待していただけに残念。
This is my first time ever writing a steam review over many, many years. I just couldn't shut up about this piece, so I'm sorry if my review format is not very experienced. I am not a fan of spoilers so do not expect any without warning.
The Good
This game is very similar to Subnautica in many aspects. For some, it is a bad thing. For me, who is addicted to this type of game (which has very few titles) this game was hope, overjoy, shock and extasy. For an Early Access game, it's doing a pretty amazing job with the content. The Art, the Music, the Atmosphere (pun intended), spot on. Gameplay is clean. Progression can be a little bit random when it comes to unlocking blueprints, but nothing that would diminish the vibe and feels of the game. I kept it short intentionally, so I do not accidentally go into too much detail :D.
The Bad
Here and there you WILL find bugs. The ones that happened to me are: - Spawning inside an Asteroid after teleporting. (There is an Unstuck button luckily, but it can also be abused unfortunately as an emergency save) - Entities Respawning or Not-Respawning which makes it really confusing what you can or cannot farm for materials. Unsure if it is intended or not, but it is nothing game breaking.
This mainly happened with drones. And it is not evident, but inside caves minerals DO NOT respawn.
- Duplicating Items! Yes you can and I hope it gets fixed because it is ridiculously Overpowered.
For the devs and devils. It can be done via putting a Seeker full of materials you need duplicated and teleporting said Seeker between YOUR docking station, and the one NEAR THE WARPING GATE. Set up a teleporter near the two places and you can infinetly duplicate technically anything that can be put into a storage. You have to spam it for a bit to work though.

Is it worth the money they ask for?
In my opinion. Yes. Especially looking at the dev notes and the teasers inside the game. This game has potential. A lot of it. And I hope my money makes it easier for them to realise that potential.
Just be aware that if you Warp to new areas, make sure to set up a base near the warp gate with an extra ship in it. If you die in specific areas (No spoilers here)....getting your ship back will be next to impossible so expand slowly
Great game! Great job, developers. Good luck, guys, peaceful skies, and take care.
