The game is beautiful, and the map is huge (which might not be so great after all), but it is just impossible to play. I can't even say the number of times it has crashed. I tried every advice I found online, and some things might have helped but they never lasted. Today was the worst. I had to replay the same mission 6 times, because it kept crashing every two minutes. Honestly, I was close to abandoning the game so many times... Also, when I finished the main story and wanted to return Codex pages, there was a bug, and I couldn't do it. After playing for 189 I'm happy to finally delete this game and move on with my life without any games that can crash SO MANY times (I have never experienced it before), I went through all the stages of grief every time it crashed. If I could go back in time, I would have never bought this game in the first place.
First time i played it, i quit because of the big ass world and the overload from sidequests BUT I gave it another shot. Went in blind and just went with the flow and see where the story would get me. I found it emotionally engaging and felt like I indeed had a viking-family to take care of. Forging alliances, hunting and breaking the order, completing side quests, pillaging, drinking, battle and developing an absolute beast of an Eivor. I really really enjoyed it. The other realms where not so for me but it gives another depth to the game if you are into that. If you are on the fence, i would advice you to buy it on sale and just head in. Take your time, play it your way. The game absolutely lets you do that. Instead of focusing on progressing, missions and completing the game, just enjoy the journey. Make your own adventure.
It’s an incredible game, rich in culture and history. I enjoyed every mission. I would play it over and over again. Playing as Eivor is a unique experience; I’ve put in over 80 hours and I don’t want to stop playing.
Hoenstly, i like many aspects of this title like i love the fighting mechanics, ability/skill tree, storyline from start to finish and the visuals of different locations wid dynamic weather. Each side stories are truely unique and fun with good voiceovers. It is no doubt an awesome Viking game might even be the best one out there, but the thing i hate most is the game itself crashes wayy too much to ruin the experience...devs have definitely not cared about it since so many years of its release which i wish changes soon !
i hate this game<3
量大管饱~
excelente juego muy entretenido
Bitmiyor abi bu oyun, oynamayın çünkü bitmiyor; adamlar bitmeyen oyun yapmışlar.
Do I think this should be an assassins creed game? No. Is this an amazing open world Viking game? Yes. I personally love open world games especially ones from older time periods the ac franchise does that amazingly but this one’s story and combat system doesn’t really match it. Now I am one for a good past time open world game and this honestly is one of the best I’ve ever played. Rdr2 of course is the greatest but this one is amazing for a Viking open world game. The story is a drag but I hardly play the story I just enjoy the open world and combat. (This is a alt btw to try and get reviews up)
Every camera is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ drunk camera. Sprint, its wobbly. Bird, its wobbly. Every damn npc conversation and the camera is oscillating for not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason. You can't turn it off. You cant do anything about it.
