NOT RECOMMENDED! In short: A beautiful but completely empty shell. Ubisoft created a stunning historical playground but forgot to put an actual game inside. Main Issues: Zero substance.. Beyond the beautiful scenery, the game has absolutely nothing to offer. It is a hollow world filled with tedious, repetitive activities. Terrible story. The plot is a generic, cliché revenge story. The villains are poorly written and shallow—they are just "bad because they are bad" with zero depth. Brain-dead AI. NPCs are incredibly stupid and actively throw themselves under your horse's hooves while you ride. Awful RPG and grind. The level-gating is aggressive. The game forces you into endless, boring grinding just to progress, backed by a shallow and uninteresting RPG system. Poor animations. Character facial animations are stiff, lifeless, and look completely outdated. Lore disrespect. For a game subtitled Origins, the creation of the Brotherhood is handled incredibly superficially. There is no depth to the lore, and the stealth gameplay feels completely ruined with no real room for assassin roleplay. Infinite spawns. You will constantly fight endless hordes of enemies that seemingly spawn out of thin air. Verdict: The developers are simply parasitic on the franchise name to sell empty, formulaic products. Do not waste your time and money on this beautiful but soulless grind-fest.

Das Spiel hat einen gewissen Spaß, jedoch ist das Kampfsystem sehr einseitig (die Waffen fühlen sich mit wenigen Ausnahmen alle auch sehr ähnlich an) und wird schnell repetitiv. Die Nebenmissionen sind alle eigen, und gegen Ende des Spiels haben sie kaum noch Verbindung zur Hauptkampagne (das ist in der ersten Hilfe noch nicht so). Die offene Welt ist schön gestaltet, jedoch erkennt man leider insbesondere in Missionen, dass die NPC's nicht tiefer sind. Interaktionen mit den meisten NPCs sind auch sehr nervig, andauerndes Tragen dieser und die sehr repetitiven Animationen sind schnell nervig. Die Kamera spinnt gelegentlich herum. NPC-Gegner finden einen manchmal durch Wände, und gleichzeitig sehen sie einen nicht, wenn man neben ihnen steht. Die Bewegungen des Charakters sind auch teils schwierig präzise/flüssig zu kontrollieren.
