I didnt upgrade from 25 because i heard 26 was worst. Playing it now with EA play for myself before 27 drops, i'm glad I didnt buy this. Worst madden ever created. Major step down from 25 and i already thought that game was bad and buggy. Its like they forgot to ship the cpu a.i in this game. Its the worst i have ever seen it.
I play offline Franchise mode so that is what this review will be mostly about. I have played this game nearly 550 hours at this point about a month before Madden 27 comes out. I also played Madden 25 for over 1300 hours (Ik way too much lol). The positions finally being corrected (the separation of 3-4 edges and 4-3 OLBs, nose tackles, gadget players introduction, etc.) has been one of the best updates that they should've done a very long time ago. There are still little issues with them such as in a 3-4 scheme the edge rushers cannot get better at pass coverage which they will sometimes do. Regular linebackers cannot get better at blitzing, HBs not being able to improve their pass blocking, and a few more I can't think of at the moment but it is a massive improvement and there are workarounds. The xp sliders seem to be default to a franchise which only is played for a few years but thankfully you can troubleshoot and correct it if you feel like playing it for longer. Overall its very fun to pick a team and try to rebuild it your own way. I've seen people do anything from goofy challenges to full on 30 year franchises. If I were a new player right now I would recommend waiting about a month to get the new one as long as they don't screw it up with microtransactions like they were trying to do with College Football 27 but if its near identical I will probably be buying it. PS. franchise is completely free to play but Ultimate team is fun as long as you're willing to grind it out, can get expensive if you want a meta team though.
I paid 60 bucks for this? Bro the football is in slow motion. the graphics are good and all, but still it is in slow motion. unless there is a deal, don't get this game.
it is fun has good grarficks
Stuck on loading screen for superstar mode. useless
good
its meh...
haha 67
This version definitely got better over time with updates. The first few versions were very buggy. There are still quite a few issues currently -- the "A" to skip doesn't always work. Otherwise, plays well... Fun game.
