Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 21.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 24/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Can I recommend this game? Yes, I can. But, and this is honestly a big ass but. It has problems that I would want you to be aware of. Writing: The writing is fine, it's funny when it's funny, but man when it's annoying it's annoying. Certain characters bothered the hell out of me whenever they were on screen and I just wanted the missions with them to end, I would constantly swap them out whenever they were not needed in the open world. Gameplay: If you're like me and loved the Lego Starwars game of ye' olden day, this game will not scratch the same itch those do. Levels are linear with little to no replay value. I missed two collectables when I played through the story, there is no secret nooks that requires a specific character, hell, there rarely is a secret nook. I got a bunch of collectables from just spamming attacks and accidentally hitting them. Which in my opinion, is lame. Extremely lame. Lego games used to be fun exploration collectathons. Where when you were done with a level in story mode, you'd be itching to jump back in for another go to find all the secrets, the hidden areas and the funny jokes the developers would hide. I don't find the same charm anymore, the game looks amazing, but it feels like in the trade for beauty, we lost the soul. Annoying traits: Characters will blabber CONSTANTLY whether it be in missions, telling you how to do baby puzzles for babies ( But seemingly shuts up if you're actually stuck for a solid second lol ), or in the open world with jokes or jabs or directions or input for side content or taunts or- get it yet? There have been times where I just wanted to mute the game because of how annoying the constant input from characters is. This game would drastically benefit from silence, as the ambiance they put on, is genuinely really, really good! Characters: There is, not much to be said, I just really wish this game had more playable characters... After finishing the story I have
7
. Yeah, they have a bunch of outfits, I just really thought that we'd get some more characters... Collectibles: While we're speaking of characters, so much fun in older Lego games were collecting characters, you'd save up a ton of money and spend it on the coolest character there is ( Looooved darth maul as a kid! ) It was a moment to remember when you found them and bought them. But here, eh, it just doesn't do it as characters unlock with the story, and every now and then you get a costume. You can buy additional costumes but... They rarely beat the ones you have, it's fun for the batman loving nerd to see all of his suits of course! ( and the sidekicks ofc ) But as for moments where you unlock a character... yeah, there isn't much
Like I would've loved to unlock the rogues' gallery, being able to run around as the penguin or the joker would be fun, but as far as things look now, nada, just the batfamily
As for other collectibles, golden bricks, or skill points as they are in this game, are unlocked after missions are played through, that's it, no bonus for collecting enough studs, no bonus for getting all the minikits, just finish the level and you're done. And it removes so much of the reward and fun. There are no "True batman" stud meter, there are no minikits in the levels, so exploring feels more, lame. There are things to collect, don't get me wrong! It's just, not scratching that itch. Instead of minikits, each level has 5 objects to break, at first I had no idea what that actually gave you, but it turns out it ( mild spoiler )
Gives you a little memoir to place in your base, different references to villains and batman moments
and that's ok. I prefer the minikit system that gave you vehicles and characters but, this is. Fine. They're just not hidden in very fun or creative places, which make them incredibly lame in my book. But the WORST one. The red bricks. It was SO fun to unlock these quirky blocks in the past, it felt like unlocking cheats, hidden features, and you never knew what you'd get. From making animals poop to 10x stud multipliers to invisibility, it was exciting, it was fun! Here? Colour swap for your characters and vehicles. They don't even look that good or unique. All of them, one colour each. I swear, this would've been one red block in the past, that unlocked colour changes for all your characters and vehicles combined. But nah, you got the one that makes you red and the one that makes you pink. It becomes collecting for the sake of collecting, it's no longer FUN to get the things you get. And I find that sad. The world: It's neat, it's an open world, Gotham looks great, it's fun to explore and do the stereotypical open world missions like race there, fight there, puzzle there, it's neat, it's fun. But I will say, the game pissed me off, multiple times, by having a character entice my to do a side thing, only for me to get completely stuck, because I had not unlocked the skill to do said side thing yet... Which you can only see on the map. So, I ended up ignoring everything in the world till I had all characters and will revisit side content now that the story is over. But man, so frustrating to have content dangled before your eyes, only to be told ah ah aah, not before you do this thing. Some of you might read this and think "Yeah but that's exactly what you wanted for levels in free play?" and yes, it is, but in free play you know what you're getting into. You're told upfront "This requires this character" Or you see evidently that the blocks you want to do something with requires something specific like explosives or dark force ( lots of lego star wars stuff here, can you guess what game I grew up with yet? ) But in this game, you can start the puzzle, get 80% done, before the game goes, oops, didn't tell you that you need this specific skill to end it, oooh well! bye! To wrap up, the game is fun, it plays amazingly, it looks amazing, but it's not a good lego game compared to what we had before. Underneath all the beautiful design, animation, graphics and all its pizzazz is an ok game with boring collectables, some annoying, a somewhat rushed story ( chapter 4 is like barely 1 level lol ) some incredibly babying dialogue, and a lot of room for more fun. I really stand by it when I say that in the trade for beauty, we lost the soul. I'm in between at 7/10 or a 6/10, it all depends on how the post game is now. But it's far from the 10/10's and 9/10's I've seen online... It's fun, but it's not fantastic ✅ - This review was approved by Thomas Elliot

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

There are really only two reasons for you to play Legacy of the Dark Night. And you don’t need to be Nostradamus to guess either of them. a) You miss Arkham series. Personally, I do, not gonna lie. b) You are generally just a Batman fangay. Alright, maybe we could also talk about a third group of people who genuinely love LEGO games. However, even if I acknowledge their existence, I can't say I really understand what goes on inside their heads and I mean it. Despite its entirely formulaic structure and limitations, the game manages to nail the combat system to a certain degree and can still be fun. Regardless, it's unfathomably a complete ♥♥♥♥♥. I haven't played LEGO games extensively since Marvel Super Heroes. Since Super Heroes had a really strong roster, its semi-open world collectathon structure probably didn't irritate me as much. Legacy of the Dark Night, on the other hand, builds its missions around whichever character is unlocked (or about to be unlocked) at that moment, offering little to no reason for replayability. There is no need for another character during the missions. Each mission include Batcave trophies that you need to break to collect, Waynetech cases (for upgrades) and Red Bricks for whatever, honestly, they are no longer fun cheats. Most levels are quite straightforward. The characters you collect through these missions later help you complete open-world activities, making it play out like a pseudo-Metroidvania. Locking people out of choice in the open world is certainly a choice in itself. While I find this approach incredibly tedious, I found myself drifting away and getting progressively annoyed with every passing hour after the initial 3-4 hours, during which I was immersed in the Gotham atmosphere we all missed. I have no idea why this game commands a premium price tag of $70. The game would have probably benefited much more if it were structured like Arkham Asylum. The traversal mechanics in the open world aren't any bad, but since the game's open world essentially serves as a massive collectathon, it got boring fast. Personally, I prefer collectathon games in enclosed areas. -- I took a second to realize how much I used the wording ''collectathon'' this year alone. Time to admit, it's really easy to make a collectathon(that is half-assed) by simply duping stuff. And the inspiration was... Arkham Series? Rofl. Being the master of martial arts, the finishers are easily one of the best parts of the game. They range from showing a teddy bear to an enemy right before knocking them out, to slapping folks with their own hands, and even piledriving people straight into the ground. You can expand your Batcave and decorate it with bunch of different props if you will. I don't know why you should but you can. Every character you unlock has two different abilities, and guess what? Every single character's first ability is some variation of a Batarang. One way or another. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Batfamily. The second abilities have a bit more variety and can actually be fun. For instance, Catwoman (the most enjoyable character to play, imho) can stun enemies by throwing cats at them. Similarly, she can use her whip to trap enemies into a loop where they spin like Beyblades forever. Which brings me to my next point. The combat is quite seamless, yes, but the game fails to deliver any sense of challenge (even on the highest difficulty). Considering that the only fail state in the game is running out of health (which only even matters on the hardest difficulty setting), it's still not successful because I didn't die a single time throughout the whole game. Not to mention how incredibly easy it is to stunlock enemies using gear like Batarangs and whips. Above all else, the puzzles in the game are sometimes so simple that I end up overthinking and missing what's right in front of me, likely because the developers didn't even bother giving hints due to how easy the solution is. Despite this, the props and the overall environment design in the puzzle environments sometimes make you overthink unnecessarily, accidentally acting as a red herring even if that wasn't the intention. Building is considerably worse than what I remember from some of the older LEGO titles as well, it's usually two or three things clustered into a single space and detective vision ruins that loop. And, here I am, once again thinking if I am too harsh on a PG action-adventure game. Back in the day, maybe LEGO games flew under the radar because they were relatively niche, but following their rise in popularity after The Skywalker Saga, I don't think they justify their price tag anymore. We are in 2026, and the LEGO brand is neither striving to offer the creativity you’d expect from its brand recognition, nor is it integrating online co-op into its games. Yes, there are online co-op-focused LEGO games, and yes, there are sandbox-focused LEGO games, but I don't think they will ever be interesting unless they design their core games around these two approaches. TT Games, for some reason, likes to keep these games strictly ''wacky retelling of older movies/games in LEGO setting'' and well if you like that, you like that. Not sure if it excuses the lack of creativity all aboard (including the writing). If anything, I’d like to blame it on growing up and say I'm not the target audience, but deep down, I know I wouldn't have liked this even as a kid. ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ Please take a moment to check out my curator for more in-depth reviews
Legacy of the Dark Knight is basically Arkham Knight for ten year olds. That's it. There's nothing wrong with making a game for ten year olds, but I think this game was aimed at older teens and adults, since the story is just a mash up of every Batman movie from 1989 to 2022. Because of that, the plot barely makes any sense, and I doubt kids would enjoy it beyond Batman doing funny things in the cutscenes. The gameplay is a watered-down version of Arkham Knight, but it's been simplified so much that you can hardly die. Don't get me wrong, the Arkham games were easy too, but this takes it to another level. There are boss fights, and they come in only two flavors: either you fight a villain with a huge health bar, or you fight a villain in some kind of vehicle or mech with a huge health bar. They all play exactly the same, and they're ridiculously easy. The developers also tried to copy the stealth mechanics from the Arkham series, but they're completely broken here and rarely work as intended. On top of that, the levels simply aren't designed with stealth in mind. Speaking of the levels, they're laid out much like those in the older Lego games, which is actually a good thing after the Skywalker Saga fiasco. However, with the new fully controllable 360-degree camera, they end up feeling surprisingly flat. The developers should have redesigned the levels around the new camera system, but they didn't. Well, sort of. Gotham City itself is genuinely impressive, and you can clearly tell a lot of love went into building it. It's just a shame there's almost nothing worthwhile to do there besides responding to random police calls and grinding through mountains of boring filler content like Riddler and Cluemaster challenges or collecting millions ofr WayneTech crates. You can also drive cars and motorcycles around the city, but the driving feels clunky, and you'll probably stop using vehicles altogether once you unlock flying. Flying is copied almost one-to-one from the Arkham games, and thankfully it works well. There are only eight playable characters to unlock, nine if you count Robin, although he has exactly the same abilities as Nightwing. You also can't play as the villains because they're locked behind paid DLC, which is both atrocious and incredibly scummy considering villains were such an important part of previous Lego DC games. On top of that, the developers completely removed minikits, the stud meter, red brick modifiers, and the custom character creator. It's a real shame this game feels so shallow, boring, and uninspired because you can clearly see that genuine effort went into parts of it, and the production values are genuinely high. The graphics look great, and the voice acting is solid (Leonie Schliesing aka Aurore Cassel from Phantom Liberty is great as Talia). On the other hand, there's practically no music while exploring Gotham, which is where you'll spend most of your time. That decision genuinely baffles me. I also don't understand why they abandoned their reliable engine in favor of UE5. The game runs well on my PC, but I can easily imagine the average kid struggling to run it. Overall, this game is just like Lego itself these days: expensive, nostalgia bait, and stripped of almost all creativity.
A mediocre Arkham game, and a mediocre Lego game. If this is your first Batman Arkham or your first Lego game, you'll probably have a good time. If it isn't, just go replay one of the originals instead :) 14 hours to finish the main story and about 50% completion, and I only pushed through to justify the full price I paid. Should've waited for a sale.
English Version (french below) : It is a good game : the gameplay is rather nice, the story is a cool hommage with lots of easter eggs to the Batman universe with a lot of LEGO put into it, the roaming is nice and the graphics are nice. Keep that in mind because I will talk about lots of things that I didn't like. It's not a LEGO Batman game, it's more of a Batman LEGO game if that makes sense. There are maybe 6 characters, but each with their own abilities and skins. There are no red bricks (well there are but they are only some ugly color schemes, so not "really" red bricks) and there are no minikits (except in the Batcave) and it was not thought for coop in my opinion. The first player playing Batman can NEVER change characters which severly limits them and can get repetitive, and the second player can NEVER play Batman which is the main point of the game (sure they can switch roles, but the problem remains the same, you can't play as Catwoman and Robin for example), the frame rate is really low when you play coop and there are little to no puzzles that require coop or coordination with the other player. I've never felt collectibles so useless during levels. Minkits had that satisfaction of a miniature place, character or vehicle emblematic to the series, but there ? Pinguins and surf boards ? Really ? And don't get me started on the hub world. Are we playing Assassin's Creed ? The reason the same amount of content was not a problem in Skywalker Saga was because they were on a lot of different plants so you were seeing different environements, but here you stay in Gotham City all the time and everything is cramped in this limited hub world, which really makes it uninviting. In short, for anything but casual playthrough, it is not that fun to complete (especially if you're going for the platinum). And I mean, where is the Batman music ? You could have picked from the classic LEGO games, the arkham series, the Dark Knight, The Batman, the TV series I mean come on it was used maybe once in the whole game ! But then again, it is a GOOD game, it just has a lot of things I don't really agree with and lacks things that I would expect in a LEGO game. Vraiment ?
