🏺 Assassin’s Creed Origins — ancient Egypt, beautiful landscapes and the beginning of something new ⚔️☀️ Assassin’s Creed Origins feels like Ubisoft decided to completely reinvent Assassin’s Creed — and honestly, it mostly worked. Ancient Egypt is absolutely beautiful. From massive cities and forgotten tombs to endless deserts and the Nile, the world feels alive and incredibly atmospheric. Exploring it was easily one of my favorite parts of the game. I went into Origins expecting a classic Assassin’s Creed experience, but what I got was something much closer to an open-world RPG. 🔥 Gameplay & Atmosphere ✅ The world — absolutely stunning. Egypt is huge, detailed and full of places worth exploring. Riding through the desert, climbing ancient monuments and discovering hidden tombs never gets old. ✅ Combat — a massive improvement over the older games. The new hitbox-based system makes fights much more active and satisfying instead of simply countering enemies over and over again. ✅ Bayek — easily one of the best protagonists in the franchise. He's charismatic, emotional and actually feels like a real person rather than just another assassin. ✅ Ancient Egypt — probably the biggest reason to play this game. The setting is incredible, and the attention to historical details makes exploration genuinely fascinating. ✅ The soundtrack and atmosphere — fantastic. There are moments when you can simply ride through the desert, listen to the music and forget you're even playing a game. 🏺 The Story The story has some genuinely great moments. Bayek's personal journey gives the game an emotional core, and his relationship with Aya is one of the strongest parts of the narrative. The problem is that the main story can sometimes feel inconsistent. Some parts are incredibly emotional and memorable, while others feel like they're just there to fill the enormous open world. And that's where Origins starts showing its weaknesses. ❌ The RPG elements can be annoying. Level requirements sometimes get in the way of the story, forcing you to stop and grind side quests. ❌ The world is huge, but not every activity feels meaningful. After a while, clearing another enemy camp or finding another treasure can start feeling repetitive. ❌ Some side quests are great, but others feel like typical open-world filler. ❌ The loot system is functional, but it doesn't always feel like it belongs in an Assassin's Creed game. ⚔️ Assassin's Creed… or RPG? This is probably the biggest change. Origins barely resembles the classic Assassin's Creed formula in some areas. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but if you're coming from the older games expecting stealth-focused assassination gameplay, you might be surprised. Origins feels more like an RPG set in the Assassin's Creed universe than a traditional Assassin's Creed game. And honestly? It works… most of the time. ⭐️ Verdict — 8/10. Assassin’s Creed Origins is a beautiful, ambitious and surprisingly addictive game. Ancient Egypt is the real star here, Bayek is an excellent protagonist, the combat is much better than the old system and simply exploring the world can be an incredible experience. But the huge open world also brings a lot of filler, repetitive activities and RPG mechanics that sometimes get in the way of the Assassin's Creed experience. It's not my favorite game in the franchise, but it's definitely one of the most interesting. 🏺☀️ If you can accept that Origins is more RPG than classic Assassin's Creed, you're in for one hell of a journey through Ancient Egypt. 8/10.

Was soll ich sagen: Ich liebe Ägypten, es spielt in Ägypten. Top Grafik, Story und Gameplay. Schwächen sehe ich nur im Parkour. Also geiles Game, klare Empfehlung. Da das mein einziges Ubisoft Game auf Steam ist und nicht direkt über Ubisoft Connect, muss ich wohl hier eine Rezension zu allen meinen Games auf Ubi schreiben. Also, ich verstehe exakt null von dem Hate gegen Ubisoft. Ich liebe das Anno-Franchise und das Assasians Creed Franchise einfach nur wegen dieser geilen historischen Setting, die für mich kein anderer Publisher zu bieten hat und für mich ist auch wirklich jedes Game, das ich je von Ubisoft gespielt habe, einfach nur richtig gut.
