Spiel läuft unrund auf meinem leistungsfähigen PC. In der kurzen Zeit, die ich gespielt habe sind vor allem die Spielabstürze und die langweilige Story aufgefallen. Das Spiel wirkt einfach nur wie die Xte Neuauflage des gleichen langweiligen Konzepts. AUCH: Ubisoft Connect ist einfach ein Witz. Ich kaufe nie wieder ein Spiel von Ubisoft Spiel.

Assassin's Creed Origins is a difficult one to review. The combat is, in my opinion, the worst I've experienced in an Assassin's Creed game. It feels clunky, and it took away from a lot of the enjoyment I could have had during encounters. The progression system also doesn't help, as the constant need to farm materials and resources becomes more of a chore than something enjoyable. The microtransactions are another downside. They constantly take away from the experience and make the game feel less rewarding. Instead of simply enjoying the adventure, there is always that feeling that the game is pushing you toward shortcuts or extra purchases. That being said, the rest of the game does a lot to make up for it. The world is easily one of the best Ubisoft has created. If you're interested in Ancient Egypt, this game is a simple purchase. The attention to detail, the landscapes, and the atmosphere are incredible. Exploring the pyramids, deserts, and ancient cities is where this game truly shines. The story is often praised as one of the best in the series, but personally, I don't fully see it. It's a pretty standard revenge story, and while it's enjoyable enough, there wasn't much that felt completely new or surprising to me. One thing I will always appreciate, though, is the wildlife. The hippos especially are a highlight and somehow manage to be both terrifying and entertaining at the same time. Overall, Assassin's Creed Origins is a mixed experience. The world and setting are fantastic, but the combat, resource farming, and microtransactions hold it back. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but if you can pick it up for around $10, especially if you enjoy Ancient Egypt and exploration, it's worth a look.
