Wollte nur kurz meine Kartoffelproduktion optimieren und 5 Stunden später führe ich Krieg gegen Anne. Im Koop noch besser, da man den Überblick besser behält. Suchtpotenzial garantiert.

Horrible game, horrible support! DO NOT BUY! I got this game in January but didn't open it until I finished something else. After install I managed to get it going after two failed attempts to start because of the launcher from Ubisoft that get stuck. This exact launcher right now doesn't connect to their cloud servers so the game cannot start. Even after doing a full repair and re-install the issue persists. Broken, not working so I filed for a refund. The refund just got rejected on the basis that 2 hours of gameplay have passed (I have 3 hours) but how to use something that isn't working so I'm extremely unhappy, have a piece of trash in my library that I cannot get a refund for. What a joke!

This game bleeds RAM memory like crazy. I can't play for more than 30 min before it crashes and uses up all the memory on my 32gb computer. I love the concept and really want to play this game, but I do NOT recommend buying it for any reason until this issue is fixed.

When I originally bought this game, I didn't know it was linked to Uplay. I bought the game on launch, and once installed it launched Uplay and automatically opened an old account I had saved there. However, it kicked me out of the account and asked me to log in again. Since I didn't know the email or password for that account, I simply logged into my current Uplay account that I was using Unfortunately because Anno 1800 initially launched through that old account that I no longer had access to, it automatically linked itself to it, preventing me from ever playing the game I have "5.2 hours" according to Steam, but that only shows the game running while I was stuck in Uplay. It doesn't reflect actual playtime, it merely represents the time I spent trying to get the game to work. Even after contacting Ubisoft Support I was simply shut down I never really complained about this until a friend brought up the game today, so here are my two cents (=

It suffers from the usual issues of the genre, at one point the system becomes so much complex that is overwhelming. But it is so incredibly well crafted, polished, and fun, that is a must check for city builder passionates.

UBISOFT account management has made me stop playing this game. Having to RESET YOU PASSWORD every 2 days is beyond a joke. Look it up, its a known issue with old Ubisoft games - they have no plans to fix it. I'm out.

Ubisoft games in steam library can't communicate with Ubisoft Connect on linux OS, dont buy ubisoft games on steam if you are on linux.
