Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 18 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a masterpiece. Menu sounds always make me think twice whether I really want to play this game. The initial phase of not seeing a monster for a long time letting you get used to controls, puzzles, resource management and mapping the first areas serves as both a great build up to your immersion and a well done tutorial. Then you start reading about and hearing hints that someone might be there with you, following you which I'm not certain what's worse, being completely alone in this castle or being followed. Seeing a monster in a horror game instantly makes it less scary, Amnesia works around this problem by making your sanity drop and blurring your vision while looking. This makes you sit in a corner, waiting nervously. The only downside to this game are it's puzzles which can sometimes be very unintuitive, especially considering you don't really know the area and/or are usnure of which piece goes where while the monsters are chasing you. I never felt like the tension and immersion ever drops until credits roll. A mustplay.

I've been putting this game off ever since I first played it when it came out and decided to finally face my fears and beat this one. As a massive horror-fan I think this might be THE best horror game I've ever played. I don't startle easily and have very difficult time getting immersed enough to get scared but this game had my skin crawl at times, a very well-made and well-paced game that does just enough horror for it to not become.. stale, and instead keeps the tension basically throughout the game, although towards the end you kinda know what you're getting so the fear-factor definitely drops over time, but that's normal. The audio in the game is superb, the voice-acting is great and the enviroments are stunning and creepy even to this date. This game has the type of look that is timeless. I went all out on the experience with playing this on the TV, with my speaker-setup and high volume, room completely black and it definitely raised my heartrate at times. As for the puzzles, I had to google a few things but they're mostly fine. Some are so random that I think I could've spent a few hours being stuck at times if I didn't look for a hint from youtube after a while. All in all, a must-play for any horror-fan. Go all out on this one, make it dark and loud and you will experience true horror in a video-game format.

It's dangerous to play Amnesia at night.
