I don't know, I see the real gamers are out in full force but this game is simply good as someone who just likes Bleach. First of all, it's better than nothing... Bleach fans haven't gotten a game in how long? And I don't think any stretch of the imagination would call this lazy/a let down, even if some aren't totally partial to the game. For the story mode, I expected some short, non-animated garbage like Sparking Zero's utter joke of a story mode. As someone who isn't partial to playing online (I'd say it's about 3-5% of my play time) I have already built up 64 hours in this game as of writing it. For anyone who needs to be refreshed on the Bleach story I'd say to 100% play it. I'd also call it a good entry point to the franchise. I like how all the bars and meters in the game work. I hope this game gets more content updates in the future past the first 4 TYBW characters, and I think if Fullbringer/TYBW/even CFYOW were included in the game it would make it the ultimate Bleach game. We already know all the Bleach characters and settings and the story concluded- I would love to see it in one format. I find the combat good and it's a pretty unique fighting game from what I understand. I probably like this more than Sparking Zero as someone who prefers Xenoverse 2 anyway. Elaborating on what I said earlier I think that ultimately this game is pretty indepth with it's recreation of the manga up until the end of the Aizen arc. I expected little from story mode going into this game and was very surprised at the level of detail when you factor in the Secret Stories. I'm grateful we got another Bleach game at all
Bleach Rebirth of Souls is authentic to the anime, does a good job with the story telling, and delivers you all your favorite characters to fight with. Every Bleach fan will pick this up and have a lot of fun with it right away, as a casual game. When it comes to being a competitive game just know not all characters are made equally in Bleach: Rebirth of Souls. It’s easy to get overloaded by the confusing tutorials as it explains how it's health bar, counters, and super moves work. However It is a game that stays faithful to the anime and I have to recommend it for people to try. Its probably the only bleach game worth playing.
Personally I love Bleach <3 Regarding the game it is kinda cool and I love the unique game design and style. However, because I am such a huge fan and waited for sooo looooong for a Bleach fighting game to come out. I must also say it is frustrating, because it feels incomplete, unfinished and unpolished for the price and for my hearths content. The character designs are wonderful as they should be like in Ninja Storm 4. But considering such projects capacity and gorgeous examples like Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.. I'd say there could have been done more. Gameplay wise I feel it a bit rigid and stuck at pressing the right button at the right time. The move sets are sooo limited I want to cry :( I feel i cannot enjoy playing my favorite characters at their maximum potential... They left so much out ... was it for greed? Lack of customization, including and not stoping to cosmetics, character designs and custom skill sets, like Xenoverse. The roaster is also relatively small compared to what I expected and what Bleach has to offer.. I get the greed of DLC and other stuff releasing, but still... And there are almost none unlockable characters through story or other means free and through in-game progress. Lastly the moves are nicely animated, however a bit stiff and no room to play smooth transitions, like animation canceling or quick parry/guard/dash. As for the menu it lacks a "preview song" since we must listen to something ... I mean it is a nice addition but make it easier to know what one selects.. Also the permanent animation of the background "tape effect" is very artistic but hurts my eyes if you watch it too much.. maybe a option to change background to static or smth. Anyway great game, I hope there will be real investments put into this not only a money grabber. I wish it to have a success story like Cyberpunk where it started buggy but endet perfect! I wish it will reach the Ninja Storm fluid combos, the customizability of Xenoverse 2 and the animation as smooth and flowing on each attack/skill/ult like of DB Sparkin Zero. I hope this pushes the devs to polish the game and make it for the PLAYERS! The rest is history!
надеюсь издатель и разраб сдохнут в муках
theres no orihime wtf i want orihime fat big tittays bruh THJUMBS DOWN
Story mode was great but besides that there's nothing more to it. There's two characters that can just spam you in a combo from start to end for battle so going online with them is like playing yugioh. Not really balanced to consider this an online fighting game to enjoy, with friends maybe...
Story mode is a slideshow, definitely the worst aspect of the game. The character roster is decent; I simply don't understand why Unohana isn't in the base game. The online mode is certainly the best part of the game, but it takes a while to find an actual opponent.
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is a game I enjoy, but it definitely has some problems. Visually, the game looks really good. I like the animations, the cutscenes, the character designs, and the overall presentation. A lot of attacks and transformations feel flashy and satisfying, which is exactly what I would want from a Bleach fighting game. The combat is decent, but I would personally give it around a 6/10. It can be fun, but sometimes the inputs do not seem to register properly. There are also moments where I clearly hit the opponent first, but they still hit me back while my attack somehow does nothing. That makes some fights feel inconsistent and frustrating. I also think the combat is missing a proper combo-cancel system and a real parry mechanic. Both of those would make the gameplay feel smoother, give players more options, and make fights feel more skill-based instead of occasionally feeling awkward or random. The tutorial is decent, but it does not explain enough. It teaches the absolute basics of combat, but then leaves a lot of the more important mechanics unexplained. Instead of properly teaching you through gameplay, the game expects you to read a large manual full of information. I would rather spend another ten minutes actually playing through tutorial situations than read pages of text and still not understand half of the mechanics. The character roster surprised me in a good way. I originally expected maybe 12 to 15 characters, but there are a lot more than that. Even so, I still think the game needs more characters, especially more Quincy characters. Characters like Ryuken Ishida, Bambietta, and other Sternritter would be great additions. Some characters also have modes or transformations that feel underwhelming. A few of them barely change anything or can even feel worse than the base version, which makes unlocking or activating them less exciting than it should be. The character-select screen is also missing important information. It shows character names and the damage of their Kikon Moves, but it does not explain how each character actually works. It would be much more useful to have a short description explaining their special mechanics, unique inputs, mouse-wheel abilities, transformations, and whether they have one or two different modes. That information should be available before choosing a character instead of forcing players to search through menus or experiment blindly. The lack of full crossplay is also a major missed opportunity. Crossplay between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation could have given the game a much larger player base, more attention, and healthier online matchmaking. Performance could also be better. The PC requirements feel surprisingly high for an arena fighting game, and the game does not offer enough graphics settings to help weaker systems. More detailed settings could make the game run better for more players. The game also appears to be locked to 60 FPS. Even after trying to uncap it, it still runs at 60. This is not a huge problem for a fighting game, but it would still be nice to have the option for higher frame rates on PC. Overall, I like BLEACH Rebirth of Souls. The visuals, animations, cutscenes, and large roster are all strong points, and the combat can be enjoyable. However, inconsistent inputs, missing combat mechanics, weak tutorials, limited character information, no full crossplay, and performance limitations stop it from being as good as it could have been. It has a strong foundation, but it still feels like it needs more polish and better explanations for players.
This game has been a mediocre experience for me. I'm losing interest halfway through. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars. - I enjoy the brawler combat, most of the other games for the series have been some kind of gotcha/ mobile game, so this gameplay has been a welcomed advancement to the series of games. - Just about every aspect of the main story arcs do get covered in the story mode, Excellent! - Visually the character designs/ attack animations/ special move cutscenes are awesome spectacles and satisfy my eyeballs very much. - The game lacks almost any gore, unfortunate for a game about blade wielding Death Gods. - PVP has been okay online, I have enjoyed playing locally with friends and do appreciate the developers for adding the functionality to the game. - Counter/ Parry/ Canceling attacks has been a frustrating experience. - Story cutscenes leave much to be desired... A massive lack of 3D animation for major scenes from the story is disappointing. All character models and environments have the perpetual motion problem, I find to be a gross experience and I don't understand the use of such a lame/ lazy animation-looping style. It's like a constant typhoon is blowing around all the fabrics and foliage of a given scene at all times, Gross! - Upgrading character abilities feels like an after thought to the game. - Character dialogue during combat overlaps very often, making the audio hard to understand and breaks the coherence of the gameplay, toggle feature?
