BARRELS
В наше время (26 год) игра совсем не страшная, однако она больше берёт своей атмосферой. Советую, если любите старые игры (вайб определённо присутствует)
If you are a horror fan this is a MUST. Certified Horror Classic. Atmosphere: 11/10. Brennenburg Castle is oppressive, Lovecraftian, and dripping with dread. The story, told through notes and flashbacks, is heavy, mysterious, and intriguing. Puzzles are physics-based – you actually drag doors, stack boxes, pour acid – and that interactivity pulls you in. The sanity effects, screen distortions, and voice acting sell Daniel’s breakdown perfectly. Even today, it’s still scary and one of the best horror experiences out there. The modding scene is also insane – custom stories for days if the base game doesn’t break you enough. The hype is real because Amnesia said “nah” to combat. You can’t punch the monster. You run. You hide. You pray the wardrobe door doesn’t creak. That powerlessness is what makes it terrifying. The sound design does 80% of the work – distant screams, skittering feet, your own panicked breathing – and the darkness mechanic is evil genius. Stay in the dark too long and Daniel starts hallucinating. Stay in the light too long and you burn oil you’ll desperately need later. It’s a different kind of game that forces you to manage fear like a resource.
Still scary in 2026, rarely have I ever felt the need to take a break while playing a horror game.
I guess I think it's fine. Thumbs up is a little much to be honest. You wanna know something about this game- too dark. I get that it's in the title and it's supposed to be a horror whatever maze but I'm trying to see what's happening and see the clues and as mentioned before- too dark. If it was called Amnesia: You can barely see down here and it's going to make things silly, then I'd be like, well, I guess I shoulda known. But, I guess it was fine.
i was told this was a good game for people with amnesia. i have to admit i was skeptical at first but i was told this was a good game for people with amnesia. the cool thing about this game is i heard it was a good game for people with amnesia. i think i might play this game for the first time! i will leave a review after finishing it apparently its a good game for people with amnesia
Standing with cry of fear as the best swedish horror game ever made, everything in this masterpiece is perfect, even how in the opening credits they tell you how the game plays and that you should focus on the story more the winning is fantastic, Frictional really cared about creating a narrative that connects with the horror in a way we have never seen before. You play as Daniel an Englishman who together with Alexander have fortified the castle of Brennenburg to keep out a darkness that arrived when Daniel took home an orb he found i Algeria, this orb is a key to intergalactic travel but is also guarded by this evil, to unlock it’s attributes you need vitae a special liquid that can only be harvested by keeping a human in a constant state of terror, and also torturing them. When Daniel learns the truth of it all he blames Alexander and takes an amnesia potion to keep off the Darkness and also kill Alexander who want to travel across this reality in to another. Keep your lantern lit, your sanity in the green and keep away from the darkness and your good
great yaoi game
Nunca va a volver a existir algo igual a todo lo que fue Amnesia. 9.3/10!
