Alice: Madness Returns

Una buena historia, muy cruda para ser un juego "para todo público".

Arte de juego, la verdad no sabia mucho de su existencia más que el nombre, pero quise probarlo para ver que me parecía y me encantó. Aunque me frustró bastante uno q otro bug que me salía, el peor fue uno en smelling and regurgitating, ya que cuando iba a pelear con el ratón se me bugeaban las teteras que salen ahí, como no las podía derrotar no me dejaba avanzar, estuve como más de 15 veces intentando que me salieran, cosa q me enojaba porque implicaba reiniciar una pequeña pelea que había como con 2 duendes y 1 tetera, por todo lo demás no fue tan terrible. Mi capítulo favorito fue el 3, me gusta mucho la estética y por historia elegiría el 4.

I came for the dark twist on Alice in Wonderland, but I stayed because of everything hidden beneath the surface. Alice: Madness Returns is far more than an action-platformer. It’s a psychological journey through grief, trauma, guilt, and healing, wrapped in one of the most beautiful and haunting art styles I’ve ever seen. Every chapter feels unique, every environment tells a story, and the soundtrack perfectly captures the feeling of wandering through a broken dream. One of my favorite details is Alice’s dresses. They’re not just cosmetic outfits—they’re full of symbolism. I absolutely love the references to planets, celestial themes, and astrology woven into their designs. It’s the kind of detail many players might overlook, but for me it made the game feel even more magical. It shows how much passion and thought went into every artistic choice. Wonderland itself is unforgettable. It’s horrifying, beautiful, tragic, and fascinating all at once. Instead of relying on cheap scares, the game uses symbolism to represent Alice’s mental state, making every enemy and every location feel meaningful. Even after all these years, there still isn’t another game quite like Alice: Madness Returns. Its gameplay may show its age in some places, but its atmosphere, world-building, music, character design, and storytelling remain timeless. This isn’t just one of my favorite games—it’s one of the few games I consider a genuine work of art. I only wish we had received a sequel, because Alice’s world deserved so much more. 10/10 — A masterpiece that never stops making me wonder what’s hidden behind every symbol and every piece of Wonderland.
