STAR WARS™: Battlefront Classic Collection

You guys have legitimately disappointed me, Aspyr. This is a sad joke of a remake and you know the potential of these old games. Highly disappointed.

On a sale and you're still trying to charge people £21,99 for this garbage of a remake?

I was able to get it for around €13, but I have to say this: even if this game were free, I would still buy the original two games separately; I would have more fun for sure. I usually prefer to buy remasters just to see how they’ve improved the game visually or mechanically while revisiting my childhood classics, but holy moly—as an experienced studio, they managed to ♥♥♥♥ it up so badly. First of all, when it comes to visuals, they barely did anything—it's the absolute bare minimum. There are some icons and visual elements where the remaster looks way worse compared to the originals. Secondly, there is the gameplay... they managed to change almost every single part of the game, but they also managed to ♥♥♥♥ everything up. This literally feels like those YouTube videos where someone tries to recreate Minecraft in 24 hours; you can see what it’s trying to be, but it doesn't even come close to the 'copied' product. After reading the reviews, I told myself that people on the internet are just too harsh and complain about the smallest things. However, everything they wrote about this game was true. If you are considering buying this, or even just thinking about it, I beg you: don't. Forget about it and spend your money on something else. You could even gamble it away; at least then you’d have a chance to win. Here, you lose 100%—and you lose twice, because you lose your money and you don't even have any fun.

Aspyr did this game dirty back in the day and continues to let the game suffer while they scam you for $35. Both games are the Original Xbox Ports. Control Sensitivity is trash, even on the highest setting. Multiplayer servers have severe lag, even if it's in your region. Get the 2004 Battlefront 2 original game. It's way better then this port. Or, emulate the games.

Half-assed money grab that was practically abandoned after they released it with far too many bugs and issues.

Absolute dumpster fire of a game. Couldn't even bother to have proper widescreen support. Didn't even fix bugs that were present in the original game and somehow managed to create new bugs. Don't even get me started on the AI upscaled textures. I couldn't even play the game properly because my keyboard input randomly just stopped working. Absolutely ridiculous.

It's the original games, with a functional UI and out of the box controller support. Includes Original Xbox exclusive DLC. They put hero assault on every single map, which is actually really cool imo. Unfortunately the ONLINE SERVERS ARE DEAD on PC, most likely because people are playing the original individual releases, which do have populated servers. If you want to play this game online, explore console options (Switch version for example has 8-15 people playing on conquest server every night) If you are buying this for the single player experience and are just looking to revisit the game you will enjoy it!

It's the original games that works out of the box with controller and widescreen support, never tried splitscreen because I don't have friends.

Just get the originals, save your money. The ONLY things this does is HD the textures, better resolution scaling and official multiplayer servers. A simple mod gives you HD textures and no one plays online due to all the launch controversy this got. I honestly don't understand why this was even a thing if this was it lol.

GLITCHY, SCREEN TEARING, MULTIPLAYER IS CRACKED, SINGLE PLAYER ALMOST GAVE ME VERTIGO.
