Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 13 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

solid game, enjoyed it.
One of my favorites strategy game! So much replayability and builds it's always fun experimenting with. Also the soundtrack is top notch. Long time fan of the series and this spin-off from the usual medieval theme didn't disappoint.

Combo of Civilization and XCOM - really enjoying it so far!
Overpriced DLC.
My mistake was getting into AoW:4, then giving this one a chance right after thinking it would be a similarly exciting experience. Having Planetfall sit in my library for awhile now in the Technology catagory, wanting to get into it but never getting around to it. There probably is a lot of potential, but honestly it is too alien to feel satisfying.
I didn't find the combat very compelling so was bored basically the entire time I played. The enemy combat AI isn't very good. Units have a very short shooting range so you spend most of your time just trying to move units to cover, which is easily destroyed anyway. It's unclear what angles are affected by cover.

great game to learn and play
It's simple for a 4X game, but it's strength is in the tactical combat. Unless you figure out how to break it. For example by only using Snipers that can take out enemy squads before they get into range. Even though I liked the game at first. After the first two missions, when I had learned how to play the game, I quickly noticed that the AI apparently never did the learn how to play. It is decent in the tactical combat, but on the strategical map it is atrocious. My personal breaking point with this game came in Mission when i was building a doomsday device to win the mission after 10 turns. The AI quickly noticed that I was building it and openly denounced me in the diplomacy screen and soon all other factions declared war on me. Even though the process from building to counting down to 0 took atleast 20 turns the AI didn't attack me even once and patiently waited until I destroyed the planet. The AI just isn't proactive at all and just waits for you to clean up the map. It has defense forces, but when you take them out it's done for. Even if it recovers, it may never retaliate. Also the variety between factions is actually lackluster. You have different faction with different units and different damage types. But for the most part every faction has the same roles of units like melee, ranged, support, artillery and so on and they all feel too familiar. The neutral factions actually make that feeling of sameness worse in my opinion. Because they reappear quite often between missions and give you the same upgrades and units every time. So you quite quickly know everything there is to know. Overall, I don't regret the 46 hours I put into the game. But I won't play any more either.
66.99 for this game? for real? it's a decent game..but worth that much? not on your or your cats life is it worth that much
