Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 13 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

solid game, enjoyed it.
One of my favorites strategy game! So much replayability and builds it's always fun experimenting with. Also the soundtrack is top notch. Long time fan of the series and this spin-off from the usual medieval theme didn't disappoint.

Boring
This game offers a rich blend of turn-based strategy and empire-building in a vibrant sci-fi setting. It combines tactical combat with deep strategic planning, allowing you to explore, expand, and conquer in a vast universe filled with diverse factions and units. The game’s robust customization options and varied playstyles provide plenty of replay value, making each campaign feel fresh and unique. Whether you’re a fan of tactical battles or strategic empire management, this game provides a compelling experience for strategy enthusiasts looking for a futuristic twist.
You'll get swamped by 5 or 6 armies surrounding each and every one of your armies because that's the only strategy that matters.
Civilization meets Heroes of Might and Magic meets X-Com? Yes, please. Age of Wonders: Planetfall has more in common with Heroes of Might and Magic, Total War, and Warcraft 3 than it does with Civ. If you're looking for a game where you slowly build up an empire with a huge economy, this isn't the game for you. The strategy layer largely exists as an excuse to make for fun, deep, and interesting tactical battles where a lot of different factors are at play which can honestly be overwhelming for new players. No sense denying that; there is a large learning curve to both this game and Age of Wonders in general, as you will need to understand things like flanking, morale, a large variety of different status effects, action points, overwatch, and there's even more than that, and the tutorial does a bad job of teaching you. So if you are looking to pick this one up, be prepared to have to spend a lot of time just learning, especially if you're unfamiliar with the genre. The graphical fidelity is good, but the animations are AA in quality. I don't blame the devs for it, though, and you'll be playing the tactical battles sped up most of the time anyway.
