This is one of THOSE types of simulation games where it's all physics and it's all you. This game is about allowing you to be the snowboarder that you would try to be in real life if your bones were indestructible. You can make the style and steez unmatched if your thumbs put in the hours to make it happen. Getting good at this game is beyond satisfying and by the nature of snowboarding, this game is also infinitely replayable. The physics of the snow is very accurate, maps are quite fantastic. The game is mostly just centered on the activity of snowboarding and doesn't try to distract too much from it. I love this game and will probably play it forever because it just captures the essence of how fun it is to snowboard. The possibilities of tricks and lines are endless. Buy this game if all of that sounds appealing to you!

Great snowboarding game that’s more of a vibe than a sport game. It’s like if Skate 3 and SSX made a baby. I do wish it was open mountain, so if the devs can take away the out-of-bounds feature that’d be great

games rlly fun, i love snowboarding and its got good mechanics for tricks. beat the game in 30 hours tho and then it gets kinda boring

A solid game. One of the better extreme sports type games around. The good: - Great maps - Fun story, pretty grounded but still silly - Actual boarding feels great - Mechanics like winches and sleds to prevent heaps of downtime, The Bad: - Controls are a bit dicky, sometimes it isn't clear why one spin is faster than another or while trying to grab during a flip the grab just stops or slows the flip to a crawl. - Some hit detection is weird.

La partie "missions" est un calvaire. Les personnages sont à claquer, bêtes et prétentieux. Dans l'édition du personnage, au début du jeu le seul casque disponible est à acheter sur le magasin steam... ha ha. Les commandes ne sont pas très intuitives et rend le jeu très exigeant. L'absence de tips ou de didacticiel est regrettable. La physique est un concept aléatoire. Les sensations de vitesse ou de vertige ne sont pas au rendez-vous. Parfois sur des faux-plats on ne sait pas vers où est la pente et on perd en vitesse, voire on est arrêté alors qu'on pensait descendre. Et les parties de ride dans les villages, avec un carving aussi peu réactif, ça devient vite insupportable de manger du chalet. J'ai arrêté l'expérience... trop déçu. Je ne peux pas recommander Je retenterai peut-être sur une machine plus moderne à l'avenir, même si la mienne est déjà une belle bête, pour voir si c'est une question de configuration...

super fun game for just relaxing. being able to learn new things and show off skills.

After being massively dissapointed by skate 4 (skate.), playing this is a dream. The level design is so good. While there is more limitations in tricks, just being able to vibe down the mountain is awesome. Well made game, totally worth your time. Controls feel great. It takes a little bit of time to learn, but it's worth it. Do the tutorial!
