The game feels like a downgrade from AoW2 and you have to sign into a third party platform.

The spectacular, high-fantasy love child of Civilization and Heroes of Might and Magic. If you have ever played a 4X strategy game and thought, "This is great, but I wish I could personally command my army of frost-breathing Draconians in a turn-based tactical arena," then Age of Wonders III is your dream come true. Triumph Studios delivered an absolute masterpiece that bridges the macro-management of global empire-building with the deep, statistics-heavy progression of a high-fantasy RPG. From the second you spin up a map, you are sucked into a gorgeously detailed fantasy world where you aren't just conquering land; you are sending legendary heroes to raid ancient crypts, forging alliances with mythical monster dwellings, and casting world-altering global spells from your high tower. The true genius of the game lies in its innovative RPG Leader Class system, which completely replaces traditional static civilization bonuses. Instead of just picking a race like Orcs or High Elves, you choose an overarching class for your leader—such as a Sorcerer, an Archdruid, a Rogue, or the brilliantly unique, tech-focused Dreadnought. This choice fundamentally warps your entire empire's tech tree and military. Playing as a Goblin Dreadnought allows you to roll heavily armored steam tanks, musketeers, and mechanical cannons into battle alongside standard fantasy units. The transition from the massive overworld map to the 3D turn-based tactical combat grid is completely seamless, turning every city siege or wilderness skirmish into an intricate, palm-sweating game of positioning, flanking, and spell casting. With its robust random map generator, dual-sided narrative campaigns, and deep multiplayer capabilities, the replayability here is virtually infinite. The game truly reaches its final form when you couple the base experience with its Eternal Lords and Golden Realms expansions, adding mechanics like cosmic events, race governance, and incredible necromancy classes. It is a beautifully balanced, mentally stimulating "no-brainer" classic that runs flawlessly on modern PCs and handhelds. For anyone looking for a strategy game where your choices on the global map are beautifully realized through tense, tactical combat, this is an absolute masterclass in genre fusion. 10/10 — My Elven Theocrat army marched across the map, converted an enemy giant to our religion mid-combat, and used holy magic to smite an army of underground orc engineers. Absolute perfection.
Очень крутая и атмосферная стратежка

VERY REPLAYABLE
Great game if you like thinking a few steps ahead. The game looks great, has strategic and tactical depth. Just great to play, certainly against human opponents.
Not my cup of tea.
génial , très agréable à jouer !
