Afterlife Empire

A game with no real goal and no real way to get there.

This game seemed a fun and nice one from the preview. The UI is confusing as sometimes the mouse cursor does not respond in precision. The game tries to be a new type of Sims with a fun twist but still lacks some polishing, hopefully they will solve the issues in coming updates. My impression is that is not worth the money I payed for it at this stage of development.

I'm really rather sad that this game never got to go further. Unfortunately, it still feels very alpha. It's a cute game, I like it, and I enjoyed playing it. However, it's no longer a game I have much interest in. I absolutely do recommend it, but expect the game to crash, for there to be silly glitches, and to eventually stop playing it all together. It feels like the biggest issue here was the fact that they got a lot of hate for something as stupid as where money went based on a public voting system. It seemed to discourage the devs, who, quite frankly, were doing a damned good job. If people judged the game and only the game, this would have gone a lot further. So, for $5, you get a few hours of fun gameplay, maybe some more if you get really into it. You'll probably be like me and wish that the devs and publishers had the will to do more. Maybe one day they'll pick this back up for an update or two, if only to humor people like me.

Maybe if the game stops crashing I can play it enough to write a proper review...

This game is bugged

Although I enjoy the concept of the game, I believe the style may be more suited for mobile gaming as its simplicity and addictiveness seems like it would be more enjoyed on the busride to school/work or when a computer is not accessible. It's not very complex so I have a hard time finding myself getting lost in the gameplay for any more than half an hour. Playing in short spurts seems to be the most enjoyment I get out of the game. I have read before time and again the bugs are still acting up in the game (as I had bought this for my friend and alas, he still cannot get past the loadscreen) and although I have not experieneced any of these problems, it would be reasonable to expect the game to be fixed by now. I hope to hear more from the developers soon, but at this time I cannot recommend this game in good faith. If it hits mobile markets though, you'll be sure to see me there!

It's a good game for a good cause. I personally had no problems with bugs or anything. good if you like sort of sandbox strategy games

Olha. Um jogo mais ou menos. Na história você morreu e seu trabalho agora é assustar as pessoas que ficam ali por perto. Com a energia, você assusta, compra objetos para assustar e até expande sua casa. Tudo pra poder assustar ainda mais. E assim vai se repetindo até o máximo que você conseguir chegar. Legalzinho para passar o tempo. Mas não recomendo pela somatória das coisas. Acredito que o preço é elevado em relação ao que ele oferece. Em resumo: Vale se você tiver um cupom de desconto, mas, utilizando o preço normal, deixo como não recomendado (Mais um jogo que caberia perfeitamente a opção "Neutro") Positivos: Legal para passar o tempo e de certa forma até divertido. Achievements. Negativos: Em alguns momentos, o jogo buga e congela. O controle é um pouco esquisito também. Principalmente na hora de alternar entre os modos ou controlar seu fantasma. Assim como eu disse, pelo pouco que oferece, acredito que não vale R$ 10,49. Mas se você tiver algum cupom de desconto (assim como eu tive), talvez seja interessante comprar.
