Hey, you just died. But don't worry! All the major religions were wrong! Instead of ascending to a new plane of existence, you are now self-employed in the Afterlife with your own haunted house to run. Keep people just scared enough to keep believing in you, but not enough to alert the local authorities.

Yeah, this game is too broken to recommend. The tutorial is buggy and skips itself then breaks.... and then after a while the game freezes (with the music still playing) and you need to kill the process to exit. And then you find out that the saved game you made didn't save. And then the tutorial breaks again.... repeat... repeat...
Game is basically unplayable. The menu is bugged to the point where you can't even save a game, as the save and quit game buttons are overlayed on top of the rest of the menu. This is bad enough, but with the game crashing after 15-20 minutes of gameplay, there is no point in restarting the game over and over.
A game with no real goal and no real way to get there.
As others have stated, it's a nice idea with neat design but way too broken and unpolished to be recommended for being bought with actual money.
I don't know if this is the best the developers could do or if they half-assed it, but nonetheless the outcome is trash.
Unplayable.
There is potential in this game, but sadly it's too buggy to enjoy.
This game seemed a fun and nice one from the preview. The UI is confusing as sometimes the mouse cursor does not respond in precision. The game tries to be a new type of Sims with a fun twist but still lacks some polishing, hopefully they will solve the issues in coming updates. My impression is that is not worth the money I payed for it at this stage of development.
Heyyo, well for what I paid for? $5 is an ok asking price for the game. There's not a lot to this game, it doesn't have a lot of depth but it's a decent first game by a studio that has never made games before. I do wish there was more to the game as it definitely feels short as all you do is either directly scare people, build rooms to scare people... that's about it. There's a few special types of humans you need to watch out for as they can take you down or cause a game over. You have essense that you need to keep you alive but it's also the same power you use to scare humans or build the rooms. I dunno, there's just not a lot to talk about... but like I said, it set out some basic goals and achieved them with a team of ladies that have never made games before so it's alright for a first game. If you're looking for a more in depth indie game? Of course on Steam there's a lot to try.
I had hopes for this game, when I first heard about it, before the great furore. A haunted house simulator along the lines of Haunting? Might have been good. But This game is pretty clunky in most respects, and worst of all, incredibly prone to crashing. I really hope Danielle Maiorino is doing well, in spite of it all. I can't say the same for the developers, who seem to have abandoned it.
