Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 2 → 1.57/day in the week after.

Reviews
Took about 40 hours, but once I decided to ignore the fantasy elements with the help of a few mods, TROY is a solId semi-total war experience

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 16 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game has a bad rap, and I know Pharaoh makes a lot of it pretty null. But man I've been playing total war since Rome 1 and this is one of my favorites. The music and look is absolutely magical. If you have the mythos edition it creates an experience you won't fin din any other TW game. Absolutely adore it.
I am aware that most of the players don't like this game as much as the other ones in the Total War series but personally this one is my favorite of all the games in the franchise, it still has some small bugs but it's not a big deal. Best game overall
Its a downgrade in comparison to the previous total war releases for sure... I would rather play Attila or even Britannia than this. Idk why but they stripped down some features from previous titles. Including there is no sea battles, and it feels constantly like i am playing the same battlefields over and over again, just boring in comparison to other total war titles. Sure i will keep playing for the achievements but... Honestly i recommend u to buy a previous total war title rather than this. Update... 109 hours later, it took me this long to hunt every single last one of the argos bastards down, jus to achieve the total war victory... NO WAY IN HELL, will i try to get the homeric victory which would require me to turn against both of my allies who were now number 1 in military strength, and number 3, me being number 2, considering it took 100+ hours to destroy 1 strong factions every settlement, the map is WAY too big to care about this achievement. IM DONE! THX!
Greek mythology nerd, so I absolutely love this game. There's some little things I'd like to see like formations, artillery, and heroes not being a single unit in mythos mode, but overall I love this game. If you're not much into Greek mythology then you should probably skip.
The game concept is so good, but battles r so bad, ai is so bad, also there is no logic in diplomacy, other factions will declare war on u without any reason
game was never finished so many finicky bugs in the campaign
