Yearning

I really loved the game! The atmosphere was great and I really liked the art style, felt very unique. The lantern's radius also created a lot of suspense as I was exploring and the background sounds and music really added to the suspense and creepy factor in the various locations. I loved theorizing about the story and what everything meant as I went (All of my theories were wrong by the end though haha). The English translations could have had better grammar but I still found it easy to understand what everything was trying to say so this wasn't a big deal to me. Using the stairs in the storehouse however can be a bit tough, and it took me a few tries moving back and forth pressing and holding z to get it to work but it eventually did, if anything that would be my only real gripe. Overall this was a great and very enjoyable experience and I highly recommend it!

クリアまで三時間と少し 謎解きで詰まらずスムーズに進めば三時間を切るくらいでしょうか 長すぎず短すぎずちょうどいい分量だと思います ストーリーはおりんという少女が姉のおゆきを探しながら徐々に何があったのかを思い出していくという定番の内容です ラストはこの手の話に慣れた人なら割とすぐに予想できてしまうかもしれませんが、ストーリー自体はよかったと思います 哀しい話ではありますがホラーにありがちなモヤモヤした後味が悪い終わり方ではありません ホラーゲームとして見た場合、明かりが提灯だけなので周囲がわずかしか見えず緊張感は結構あります また暗闇が多い代わりに音を効果的に使っているように感じました といっても爆音でおどかすようなシーンはないので安心してください 謎解きにはあまり複雑なものはなく、隅々まで調べてヒントをよく読めば大抵は解けるようになっています ただ調べられる場所とそうでない場所の違いはもっとわかりやすくしてほしかったところですね 今回江戸時代が舞台のホラーゲームという物珍しさからなんとなく手を出してみましたが、個人的には満足しています PVを見てピンと来たなら買ってみても損はないんじゃないでしょうか

Yearnings stylistic choice and sound design is great, but as other reviews point out, its extremely slow. There is no sprint and you have to backtrack many times, even more so if you miss something, and that becomes very tedious. 歩くだけで響く足音。あまり過度に化け物が出現しないので、出会った時の衝撃が半端ないです！フラグ立ての雰囲気ゲーですが、非常に楽しいですよ！

グラフィックやストーリー等のクオリティも高い。攻略は簡単で、どうしても逃げ切れずゲームが攻略できないみたいなことはない。日本語も99％正しい。 ただ、それでも横スクロール2Dで3時間弱~4時間でクリアできるゲームに1200円はそれでもちょっと高く感じる。600~800円くらいが妥当だと思う。

江戸時代の純和風古民家を舞台に、少女おりんが、大好きな姉を探して探索するお話。 民家の中には謎の「影」というべき怪物が徘徊し、怪物を回避しながら、キーアイテムを探して右往左往。たまにパズルもある。そういうゲームです。 主人公の足が遅く、また、キーアイテムを取り逃してしまうと、一度行った場所を往復しなければならなくなるので、この点はストレスが溜まります。 勘のいい人ならば、少女おりんが本当は何者なのか、ゲーム開始後にすぐわかってしまうでしょうが、そこは良し悪し。 どんな形であれ愛する人との再会を「良し」とするなら、この物語はハッピーエンドなのでしょうね。

I know that a lot of reviews here mentioned the weird English translation and such but for me it doesn't really make the gaming experience worse. The game play is pretty good. Got stuck at how to get to the place to put the flowers for like an hour and eventually got through. The game is not difficult at all but the sound atmosphere is great! Highly recommend to play with a gaming headset to enhance the experience even more. Yes, it's 2D. But it can give you a scare all the same.

玩的挺流畅的，有点英语或者日语基础的应该通关是没问题的，鬼出现的频率不大，容易过。
