Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An entertaining trivia game to challenge movie fans, with word puzzle mechanics. As it focus on the highest-grossing movies, there is a lot of superhero franchises and cartoons. That makes playing it with a friend a funny experience. Recommended!
surprising nobody, mini words: top movies is exactly the same as mini words, but with movie-related words instead of regular ones. that's why I linked my review for reference, but I'll briefly explain how it works here as well. you have to find a number of words among a bunch of letters to complete each level. it plays very similarly to the excellent lyne, only with words, and of course it resembles all the word games ever on mobile. the 10 level packs hold 10 levels each, only one pack is unlocked at a time, but the levels are all available at once and can be done in any order. keep the mouse button pressed until you finish creating the words by moving horizontally, vertically or diagonally, but you can (and often have to) go back and forth to make longer words than the number of letters on the screen (e.g. using 't', 'e' and 'x' you can create text by using 't' twice), but you have to use all the letters at least once. unlike mini words, there are no difficulty levels or hint system, you need descriptions here to find the necessary words, which are often names of characters or real people, or other in-universe stuff. after solving a word, some info about the relevant movie comes up. nice touch, as is the limited level selection within a level by clicking the level number, no need to go back to the menu, then the actual level selection screen. the presentation is still just about acceptable, even for a minimalist title based on words, but a static background toggle got patched in, as constantly moving movie titles in the background can be quite distracting and/or annoying. simplistic looks, no music, only a few sound effects, but there is a volume slider. no resolution options or windowed mode per se, but you can resize the game window to various percentages, 100% being full screen, it's good enough. typos were part of the package this time as well, but most of them got weeded out soon after release. top movies is more of a pop culture word game, no real educational value here, and I had to look some stuff up, wasn't familiar with every movie, but my biggest complaint is that there are way too many superhero movies here, though that's more a criticism of society, people watching nothing but this crap all the time. it's a fleeting experience, the 100 levels take 2 hours tops, but the price is lower this time as well, and even with my lack of superhero knowledge I thought it was a good addition to my word game collection. not saying they should milk the concept to death, but there could be a sports version (please don't, I hate sports but love word games, so I'd have to play it), or history (not a fan either, but it'd have educational value again), video games and food would be great too, or one for kids (and me) with drawings instead of descriptions. (edit: mini words: top games is a thing as of november 2020.)

Another Mens Sana amazing game! Couldn't stop playing until I finished all 100 levels! Highly recommended for those that like movies and/or just want to play a relaxing game.
A pleasant way to put your movie knowledge to test. I enjoyed receiving relevant information about the film with each stage completed. In addition to the expected from a word scramble game, Mini Words: Top Movies also includes some engaging additional puzzle mechanics. Excellent polish and great value make it easy to recommend the game!
This game is very challenging! I love movies and all that surrounds it and it fun how without cheating i could even guess some answers. I think its because the mechanics are so good and well suited for the form of puzzles proposed that it makes you go beyond. Loved! I really liked the User interface design as well. Congrats to the developers!
Not only the graphics but the whole game experience seems to be projected with minimalist concept in mind and I love it! Kudos to developers for creating such an awesome game. If you are a blockbusters lover and You are looking for casual-puzzle with that type of content that is the game. Recommended!
I expected this a bit to be like Wordle, it kinda is like a lite version, you get 2-4 questions about certain movies in which you have to find the answers through a bunch of letters. The downside of it, the variety of questions is very limited, and puts a focus on a handful of movies: The Hobbit, Transformers, Marvel Avengers, Spiderman, Toy Story and maybe a few more, and the questions asked are: "What actor/actress played this/that role?" and "What was x character named in this/that movie"? But if you never seen those movies, there is no way to even guess or puzzle some of those answers in which you just end up googling the answers, which really takes the fun out of this.
I just can't leave a positive review. There are a few titles that make an appearance in almost every level of questions, it gets really annoying! A TON of other classic movies were just left out to make way for the same ones over and over and over again, the same problem applies to the Mini Words: Top Games, other game from the same developers that has the same games appearing all the time. The feeling is that the developers only do questions about movies and games they saw/played/know! So it is very "biased" the cast of movies and games you get. Once you finish the game, it says you answered questions about 100 top movies, I can't garantee it, but I REALLY don't feel I have seen 100 different movies, only the same ones over and over AGAIN. My downvote isn't just because of this, although a tiny game there are still mispelling errors and the puzzle itself has terrible controls - making a path it's a real pain! Nothing like LYNE, LYNE is so much better in every way. So no, I can't recommend this even though the sale price is very low so I don't actually feel very bad with the purchase :/

Wasn't terrible, I didn't know every answer and did have to google quite a few as some were very specific. Not a bad little game for a movie buff, just wish it was a little longer.
