Word Rescue

Word Rescue has the same issues that I had with Math Rescue. This game is far too old and clunky at this point to be worth paying money to buy. There are better free options for children now.

One of the greatest games ever made. Get it, play it. Have fun! Probably good edutainment for kids for word association and basic spelling stuff. ALSO, for some reason it has really good jump controls for a platformer. Seriously.

I first played this game when I was around 8 years old, living with my grandparents, on my grandpa's win 95 PC. I spent years trying to figure out its name and someone on reddit actually remembered based on my half-assed description. This bring back fond memories of my childhood and my first contact with English.

It functions which is worth mentioning. no reason to buy this when you can play it free through a browser, however. You're just throwing money into the void. Why did I buy this? idk nostalgia and stupidity

I played this when I was a kid (like when I was 5 years old) I loved it. I was looking for games for my 5 year old to learn his way around a desktop pc and I was so so pleased to find this game uploaded to steam. This and many other apogee games. Very excited. Fun game to play together, sounding out words and making images. It's amusing how dated they seem now. "disc" being a floppy disc, he was expecting an ultimate (disc golf) disc.
