Whispering Fog

This game is short but amazing. 10/10. I have all the collectibles and 3 of the 4 endings. The Unafraid ending is absolute cinema. Thank you. Seriously guys, buy this game.

This game had potential, and even though its very cheap, i would not recommend this game. The scenery and setting was really well done. But the game aspect was just .... confusing and a lot of it was totally pointless. Why did we turn on the water pump? it does nothing. Why did we unpack food? Why did we turn on the generator outside of the cabin, it did nothing. More effort into the actual story of the game would have gone a long way. Just going back and doing things for no reason. I hope the devs put more effrot into the actual game play and story if they continue to make games. Janky indie games are grreat fun, if they have substance.

The Whispering Fog is about as bare bones as horror gets, right down to its “monster,” which is literally just a black stick figure wandering around like it got lost on its way out of MS Paint. The game never builds tension, never really surprises you, and never really does anything interesting. an enemy so basic it feels like a placeholder the dev forgot to swap out. If you’re looking for depth, scares, or even a memorable moment, this fog doesn’t whisper anything except "boring"

I enjoyed the demo of this when it first released but upon playing the full version I felt a little disappointed. It felt like the developer or developers didn't really add muich from the demo to the full game. I dont think they took feedback on board either, as the tasks you have to do is on a mobile which you see on screen, byt the text is small and hard to read, I remember giving forum feedback that the text should be upped a bit so it can be read, nah they left it small and tiny. The gameplay itself is simple enough, doing the set tasks and walking back and forth between the house and the radar antenna and the lake and doing tasks like "go to bed" "Go check the laptop at the radar antenna" "go back home" which is nice and simple, you wont get lost as the area isnt that large. The atmosphere is great with the fog but the reason I left a negative review is that it felt flat and it feels like they didnt add much more content into the full game. There are no scares in this game until the end when the monster gets you and grabs you but the monster isnt all that scary. I think I paid way too much for this game, I got it on special at $5.05 and you can finish it in 30 minutes. I recently purchased Purpose 1051 which took me 50 minutes to finish and I paid only $3 for that so this 30 minute game should have been around $2.50-$3 also. I felt ripped off at $5.05. For thise looking at this game, pass on thsi game, you can get something way better like The Black Within which is way better game that this one and more game time and gameplay too. Do not purchase this game, unless it's on major discount.

[h2] Рекомендую? [/h2] Нет, даже при самой большой скидке 90% - нет. Почему? Ответ ниже. Я вообще так сказать начинающий игрок в хоррор игры, хоть и люблю кино, но игры дают лучший опыт и т.д. У игры вообще нет плюсов. Графика? Ну сомнительно, 50/50. Геймплей? Нет, не слышали. Бегаешь туда-сюда по тропинкам и все. Сюжет? Он как-бы есть, но настолько банальный и глупый. Ну может хотя бы скримеры нормальные? Нет. НИ ОДИН из них не смог как-то напугать. Первая игра в моей библиотеке которой я поставлю негативную оценку и верну за нее деньги. 125 рублей конечно не много, но за них можно купить что-то получше.

Многие ставят отрицательные отзывы, ссылаясь на то, что в игре сомнительный сюжет и отсутствует разнообразие. В чём-то даже соглашусь, но опишу своё видение. Да, игра не блещет динамикой, но я в этом нахожу плюсы. Данный хоррор своей гнетущей атмосферой одиночества и меланхолии заставляет абстрагироваться от внешнего мира и остаться наедине с самим собой и своими страхами. И ответить на главный вопрос: а действительно ли я люблю одиночество? Норм сказал? Короче, мне понравилась атмосфера, от неё исходит вайб игр начала 10-х годов. Плюсом идёт несколько концовок и коллекционки, дополняющие сюжет. Хотя сюжет тут действительно банальненький, ну уж как есть. По крайней мере, он меня не оттолкнул. Своих денег стоит, особенно по скидке хороший вариант. Я видел игры куда хуже за большую стоимость, поэтому не согласен с дизлайками. Да, можно озвучить множество спорных моментов, которые возникают по мере прохождения, и корить её за "унылый геймплей", но может разработчик и не хотел чего-то выделяющегося?
