Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really tried to like this game because I love this genre, but after almost 20 hours I've accepted that I'm just not that into it. My main issue is that the enemies move really fast, both moving speed and attack-wise, and I felt like I was constantly running away and getting wrecked by pretty standard encounters. I just really don't vibe with the combat. I can see why people like this game, but it just isn't for me.
I'm writing this review in light of the "sequel" having just come out, but not by the original devs. Wizard of Legend is a great attempt at a mage based rogue like that while isn't as fancy or flashy as big games like Hades, had a lot of potential upon release and in general has so much charm. The whimsy, the music, the npcs, the potential silly builds... While this game is not perfect, you can tell that it was made by a small passionate dev team with a lot of heart.

I recommend it but I still abandoned it because I'm weak. I mean, I LOVE THESE GAMES. I'm a big BIG fan of Children of Morta, but what I love about that one is that when you kill a boss, the boss stays dead. That for me is a must in this sort of games. I understand people who love to redo everything once and again, I like it too, but I like it with a sense of accomplishment (keeping the dead Boss, dead). I still give it a thumbs up because I believe I'm guilty for this problem and not the game.
This is probably my favorite rogue lite. Probably the only one too where I’ve unlocked EVERYTHING. I’m a teacher, so I spent a good summer staying up until 3 am—listening to full albums on repeat in the background—just grinding on this game. Super fun time. If only Wizard of Legend 2 had been good! :(
After several hours of playing, I can honestly say this: Wizard of Legend is an extremely shallow and boring roguelike that pretends to have progression, but in reality just wastes your time. The biggest issue with this game is the complete lack of meaningful progression. You keep doing the exact same thing over and over again without any real sense of growth. Yes, you can buy new spells, but most of them feel either identical to what you already have or straight-up useless. What makes it worse is that the spells I had almost from the very beginning were better than everything I managed to unlock after several hours of playing. So what’s the point of progressing at all? There is no story, no character development, no real evolution of gameplay. Every run feels almost identical. The game gives the illusion of variety, but in practice it’s the same rooms, the same fights, the same outcome — just repeated endlessly. It genuinely feels like you’re playing the same slice of the game on loop, without any meaningful reward for sticking with it. Combat itself isn’t as great as people claim. The screen is constantly filled with visual clutter, to the point where it’s often hard to tell what’s actually happening. Effects, enemies, projectiles — everything blends together. On top of that, the combat arenas are tiny, making fights feel cramped and chaotic rather than skillful or strategic. Level design is repetitive, uninspired, and lacks any real identity. The only real positive I can give this game is that the pixel art looks nice. Animations are smooth and visually appealing.
it peaks so hard as an 8bit game, sadly the successor (wol2) doesn't look as fun to me so I won't be buying tons of fun combinations you can use and skills are very very fluent, combat is fast and interactive, and runs don't feel like the same thing every time I like the pinata too
uhh good game rouge like - check difficult - check art - check no micro transactions - check good relic system - check (opposed to a normal "+5% somethingsomething" for all items)
