Withered Haven

You have a hot but creepy wife! This was a fun game even though it was short. It took me just under 1 hour to beat the game with all 3 endings and get all the steam achievements. It could end up taking up to 1.5 hours if you do a lot of exploring to find the hidden items or if you end up dying a lot. I died a few times. Visually the game look great! I enjoyed the details and depth of the areas. My only suggestion is turn off "smoothing" in the settings as it makes your head swivel very strangely and abnormally when looking and walking around. The Audio I thought was pretty good and I enjoyed the voice acting for the female. I wish the character you play as had voice acting as well. I loved how you could actually walk fast as well as sprint in this game! Unlike most indie games you actually move at a good rate of speed. Overall the controls where basic but very effective. No controller option but that was ok with me. The storyline was decent and kept me entertained the whole time. I really enjoyed that 3 different endings and I played all 3. The chapter selection in the main menu made it easy to go back and try out the other 2 endings right away which was great. The game was mildly scary. Real hardcore horror game enthusiasts may not find the game super spooky but I think the level of spooky with the graphics are a good mix to attract a larger pool of gamers. There are a couple jump scares but you can feel them coming. Also when you die the first time its a bit creepy due to the unexpected manner of it. Overall I think this game is a 5/5 and especially for $5 USD its well worth the money. I would have paid twice that price and still be happy enough.
