thats a good isometric game with some diablo-like inspiration, but the difficulty curve isn’t very pleasant. the game keeps getting harder as the campaign goes on and it becomes kind of exhausting if you don’t grind to level up and gather money for better equipment. the positive side is that the campaign is solid and the world is open, with a lot of freedom for exploration, which i really liked. but honestly it would be a much better game if it had an option to lower the difficulty and make the experience more casual and accessible, especially for players who just want to enjoy the story and exploration without having to grind too much!!
all happy fun until i get to last area of the game. Unless you have a specific build you don't stand a chance in final zone. So i guess i can get bent since i made the wrong choice of equipment to spend my last money to upgrade. Sure i could go back and reset my stats and skills but it's just a waste of time at this point. I spent all night pushing to finish this game but i guess i will just look it up on youtube and move on to games where i DON'T get screwed over because i didn't pick the SPECIFIC DAMNED BUILD.
This is just not a good game. There is so many shortcomings here i don't know where to start. Presentation looks fine in general, but colors looks too acidly bright. Every time you in a green forest it looks really bad. Controls are terrible, i don't know why they made classic isometric ARPG with 3rd person control scheme. Just make classic mouse movement and everyone is happy, but no, you got to move your character manually and even picking up items is annoying because of it. Gameplay is bang average. I like the idea of professions but implementation is just not fun. Some activities like fishing are pure junk. As for action, fighting is even worse, you basically click on enemy, miss your punches, use some underwhelming ability that took ages to refresh and roll to avoid damage. Honestly its boring already at the beginning when you kill wolves in forest. Add to that absolutely terrible map, both in interface and in design. I uninstalled this game when i entered huge cave with dragons and couldn't found the way back because its all similar corridors and enemies are respawning. Plot - it barely there, writing is terrible and i didn't care about it one bit. I bought this game on a sale to support dev getting fined by Autodesk but honestly its just not worth even that small fee. You can play 20 year old Diablo clone and have more fun with it than with this game.
3/10 on the janky side
It's okay. Really enjoyed chapter one and two but chapter three feels rushed story wise and progression wise, a slog in terms of gameplay and not so fun. At chapter three the constant rolling of enemies is annoying. All of a sudden armour, weapons and recipes start being thrown at you from the first dungeon which messes with the pace of the game and your progression. Some more annoyances: hotbar could use two rows locked chests/doors, would be nice if you didn't have to open inventory and click the item to open them. The wildlife running away from you, cute in the beginning annoying at later game. Could use more placenames or better directions to quests so its easier to figure out which teleport to use. I think with a bit more experience and a bit more of time and balancing they could build onto this with another project. For me this was right in the middle of recommend/do not recommend. Some parts fun others drab. Good luck with the next project.
It's beautiful, intra-canonically cohesive, controls are fluid, spells all work and look great. I'd call it an Upper-Low-Fantasy game probably in the same vein as the Zelda series, and frankly if you don't play it you're missing out. Dev tips: Your game is hard AF lol, and super unforgiving in terms of crafting material scarcity with some (black pearl, blue pearl, red diamond) so rare that you only get so many shots and don't KNOW that going in until after you've used them. Maybe make those items DISASSEMBLABLE to recover those unique/ultra-rare items? Maybe add like another level or two on top of the level caps? Thanks for a great game~
Boring combat, boring story, boring crafting. Very tedious gameplay

When I first started the game, I thought this looks exactly like my type of game. Nice, old-school graphics, cool music, you can fish, cook, craft, mine etc. However, the combat is absolutely atrocious. I will admit, though, that I only tried ranged combat, so I can't say anything about melee combat. Apparently, it involves some kind of mouse gestures, which really put me off. Early on I only had a single active skill, called powershot (or something along these lines). It has a rather long cooldown (30s), but it does decent damage - provided, you manage to even hit your enemy. I don't know, maybe I'm doing something completely wrong, but when using powershot maybe 1 in 5 attempts (or even less) succeeds in actually hitting the enemy. The other times it doesn't just miss the enemies, but frequently the arrow fiies in in the opposite direction of the enemy I'm targeting, and I have no idea why?! The default ranged attack also frequently misses, but not nearly as bad as powershot. (Of course it makes sense that ranged attacks miss moving targets more often, but this is just ridiculous). Nonetheless, using just the default ranged attack, I managed to finish Act 1. Then I came to Act 2 and this is where things got really ugly. I need now at least 20 arrows and some crazy kiting to just kill a single f***ing wolf! I also tried taking on one of those flying enemies in Act 2 (some kind of eagle or vulture), but against them I manage to hit maybe 1 out of 3 times with my default ranged attack, That's just stupid. What is also really infuriating is that if you finally got an enemy down to say 5 or 10% of its HP and the end of the fight seems near, then the enemy suddenly decides to just return to its spawn point and its HP is immediately back at 100%... Also, in Act 1 I was fishing several times and I'd say I had a success quote of maybe not exatly 100%, but very nearly so. Now, in Act 2 I need at least 4 or 5 tries to catch a single fish (success quota of 20-25%). You won't believe me how often I've already seen the message "The fish got away!". Maybe there's a better fishing rod somewhere in Act 2 which improves this, but to be honest I'm not feeling particularly inclined to continue with the game - which is a shame, especially since my first impression of it was so positive. And the worst thing of all: The PC is controlled with WASD. Why??? You can for example move your mouse cursor over some iron ore and it will show you "Iron ore", but if you click on it, it will tell you that you are too far away. So first you have to maneuver your character with WASD right in front of the iron ore, and then you can click it for mining. Catching chickens or rabbits is also a nightmare, as it is very hard to hit on them and most of the time your character will rather perform a default attack somewhere near the location of where you are clicking.
As a school art project A+ as a paid game 3/10 It's more of a school art project than a game, Yes you get everything, but unfortunately, everything except the graphics are a 3/10. - bad combat - bad leveling - minimal RPG - Side quests range from "we'll show you everything" to "do something" (edit) after finishing the game a change rating 2/10!! in last 2 chapters game forgets that we have crafting ad we collect stuff those chapters have like 5 huge maps and you do not find any crafting bench !! With the Portal scroll similar to Torchlight maybe this game achive 7/10.
