Rich mans Barotrauma
Bugs galore! Seems fun in theory but in practice it was very buggy and gave me a headache. when you're in a dark area and turn the sub the light flashes with every pivot and there's awful screen shake when you're getting attacked that you can't disable. We weren't able to get very far in at all because of the bugs which just made it near unplayable.
The coop is where this game really shines. Everyone has a role to play, and good communication makes a huge difference. Things rarely go according to plan, but somehow that's what makes it so much fun. I also like that each run feels a little different. New upgrades, random events, and the constant pressure of keeping the submarine together keep the gameplay from getting stale. Even when a run ends in disaster, I usually want to jump right back in.
its fun with friends. if you have those
lair guardian is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded trash. "lets just make it so if you are singleplayer you cant do anything other than just lose!" Great design!
Game is boring. The only fun you will have is the group of friends that you bring with you. Hope your friends have good teamwork skills. This game offers you zero walkthrough. You start the game and are just in it. No help. Dont know what to do. Some people think this makes the game "fun". Those people are simple minded. This is the exact same thing as an old 90s flash game with some basic game mechanics. The game mechanics are pretty terrible and you can only do very basic things. WASD, E, and jump. The graphics are "meh" and maxes out at 1440p. The gameplay is boring. You just need to go deeper and collect treasures/gold. I wouldn't recommend this to others. There are many other multiplayer games that are worth your time and money. This aint it.
Extremely unpolished and hard to play or enjoy
Well i came into this game with the hopes of a simmilar experience to barotraumam I.E Submarine crewing and mission gameplay ect. However if the menu alone wasn't poor enough the actual gameplay of piloting the ship and doing menial tasks was beyond ♥♥♥♥. One of us died to drowning and his corpse rotted for many minutes as he watched us walk around the ship. There was a crab, with a title above its head like someone gave him a boss title, its a crab which got smashed with a wrench. TLDR: It could be worse, but its pretty bad unless you have litterally nothing else to do.
Pretty good game. Although, there's a bug where if an enemy latches onto your sub, and you destroy all of its arms inside, and repair all the hull breaches, it sometimes remains attached even though there's literally nothing left to kill or repair. The game still somehow considers it latched on, and it disables your shields for the rest of the biome. I've found the only way to remove it is by entering a cave or progressing to the next biome.
