Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chornobyl Enhanced Edition - S.T.A.L.K.E.R:

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bought the OG Stalker Trilogy, got the remasters for free. Compared to the OG Stalkers, this was a bad move from GSC. Removed content, censorship and so on, they literally did a remaster just to remove the russian/soviet related content due to the war, there were no fix to [strike] bugs [/strike] Anomalies, got hard locked from achievements and had to play a different playthrough. Sure, some might say that's the STALKER experience, and I completely agree with them, it's always funny when something unexpected comes from the game, such as sudden crashes, bugged AI and instant spawn enemies. But that was fun when you didn't had achievements, you didn't had a motive for the game to be perfect, you could sit, get trolled by the game and rage, but for completionists like myself the fact they didn't fix anything was a pain in the ass, making you lose so much progress over a bug that could have been fixed before release if they planned including achievements as they did. Also they removed mod support for an extensive library of mods that made STALKER be alive even after so many years. Only good thing from the remaster is the modern hardware support for modern CPUs with higher clocks and DX12, better textures, adding some configurations and the achievements, the rest is pure child tantrum over a war most of us consumers of STALKER content didn't asked for, hell even in so many cases it affected us negatively, delayed releases, developers that got KIA or migrated, and so on. As much as a STALKER fan I am, and as much I despise this war, I must say, as a consumer of STALKER, these remasters aren't worth it if you want to experience the complete experience. Just play to get all the achievements, uninstall and never play again (literally what I'm doing) 4/10 Hate when politics are brought to good games and they get ruined for it
Сложилось впечатление, что весь смысл улучшенной версии в том, чтобы вырезать русскую локализацию. Браво, ребята, стоя аплодирую
It's not really an enhanced game, it's not complete. It has been censored and injected with particular politics. Censorship and trying to rewrite history or blur it isn't a good practice for any reason.
i got this game free since i had the originals. reguardless, play the originals unless you want to play with controller. they removed the ability to name saves, stability is only marginally better, and of course all the censoring of the game's and area's past. im mad at russia too, but denying the past is idiotic.
Оптимізація - відсутня, графіка - стала гірше, тескт - кривий: = не рекомендую, грайте в орігінал GSC - контора даунів яка жре гівно возами
Devs removed soviet symbols from the Zone and added Ukraine ones. If I knew about it earlier I wouldn't waste my time. I guess someone after Chernobyl incident decided they should decommunize the Zone and ukrainize it XD!!! It makes no sense. In reality the Zone is a rotting soviet capsule and should have stayed that way in game.
It's a shame that the original version of the game has been unlisted because of this one. It's not altogether terrible but it's definitely not the ideal way to experience the game. The original is one of my top 10 of all time, and this is essentially the same game, just with a few baffling changes that make it slightly worse. The "enhanced" graphics actually just make it look like it has a weird filter on it and things in the distance look blurry. They have, for some reason, removed all the Soviet propaganda from the game, which changes the environment and also the story itself. They changed it because of the war in Ukraine, but the game's atmosphere and setting are a monument to the incompetence of the Soviet Union at its worst. I don't think anybody thought the Soviet decorations were an endorsement of modern day Russia or of the Soviets. All the bugs from the original game still exist, which I personally don't mind because the bugs are part of the experience, although it does seem like they could've fixed a few things if they were going to remake the game almost 20 years later. The only positive things I can really say are that I like the addition of achievements, and this is probably the best way to play the game on Steam Deck because it does have optimized controller controls. Other than that, it's unnecessary at best and a worse version of the original game at worst. I might not mind so much if it hadn't replaced the original, but now that I'm replaying the original it's reminded me how much better that version is and how it's a shame that this will be the version most new players experience from now on. If you can find a way to play the original, play that instead.
>enhanced edition >somehow has more bugs than the original release nearly 20 years ago something something "too stupid to boil water"
