About

Achilles: Survivor is a fast-paced, single-player bullet heaven set in Ancient Greece. Play as Achilles - or one of the legendary souls freed from Tartarus - and cut your way through endless waves of enemies. Build deadly structures, evolve your powers, and grow stronger with every run. Defeat your enemies... or die trying.
Are you ready for battle?

Fast-paced bullet heaven in a world of Greek myths. Survive endless waves of enemies in this top-down action roguelite.
Build to survive, not just shoot. Drop traps, healing shrines, and summon allies with a unique structure-building system that turns the tide when things get desperate.
Unlock over 15 legendary survivors. Play as Achilles or one of a growing cast of mythical heroes, each with unique power and playstyle.
Progression that respects your time. Complete challenges, earn Favors, and unlock permanent upgrades - get stronger with every attempt, even in defeat. You can pick different difficulties and game modes (normal, short and endless) in every run.
Return to mythic Greece. Explore 4 handcrafted realms inspired by Achilles: Legends Untold - from the walls of Troy to windswept Greek coastlines.

Achilles has never faced monsters like this - and now it’s your turn. Dive into chaotic, action-packed runs and hold your ground against relentless waves of enemies. Pick from dozens of powers and transform them mid-run in the Forge.
The deeper you go, the tougher it gets. No two runs are the same - and surviving means adapting fast.

Place flame turrets, raise healing shrines, or summon Myrmidons to fight at your side. Unlike other survivor-likes, your best weapon might be the map itself. Structures aren’t just defenses - they're tactical tools for crowd control, sustain, and damage that can turn the tide of battle.
But remember - your resources are limited.
Build smart, and you’ll live longer.

Achilles made a bit of a mess escaping Tartarus. Now the world’s crawling with souls that shouldn’t be here - and you're one of them.
Unlock and master a growing roster of heroes, each with a unique playstyle and signature power. From Achilles' raw melee strength to Paris' precise shots, Pythia’s devastating magic, or Brontes’ brute force - these are just a few of the heroes you can discover in the game.

Every region throws new horrors at you - venomous beasts, relentless ranged attackers, and bosses that won’t give you a second chance. Learn their patterns, adapt your build, and survive escalating waves until it’s time to face an Overlord.
These bosses don’t wait for you to get ready - they’ll punish weak strategies and reward smart structure placement.

Death isn’t failure - it’s part of your path. Complete challenges to unlock new characters, earn treasures and Favors, and improve your stats with long-term upgrades.
The further you push, the more power you bring into your next run.

Return to the world of Achilles: Legends Untold and slay them all!
Battle across mythical realms drawn from Greek legend, such as Troy and the sun-scorched coasts of Greece. Each map features unique objectives, rewards, and mythological threats waiting to be conquered.

A good game with interesting ideas and replayable to some extent, but too short and too shallow. Many aspects could have been better. This is one of a very few "survivor" games that comes with realistic 3D graphics - my real favour. But the main characters only run, with no attacking action, just weapons flying around. Now we have only 4 unique maps, most look irrelevant to what they are called (like "cultists' lair" which looks like a quarry or "dungeon" which looks like a palace ruin and garden.) Constructions are the core innovation of the game, but limited construction sites especially in later maps and some constructions are still inefficient (especially the new ones - too expensive, limited use, easily destroyed.) Still need more changes, and I think they should be customizable and should have unique upgrades. There are five classes with a number of characters available to unlock and play. Cool!!! but the classes are nothing more than extended bonus stats, and all will be maxed out very shortly. It would be better to give further upgrades with more uniqueness and sub-classes that may be chosen in each round. The roster is still too few, still LACK OF MANY ICONIC CHARACTERS like Menelaus, Prium, Helen and Odysseus. And what recently added are irrelevant like Skeleton King and Minotaur, so disappointed. Would also be better to have minor customizations like changing armors and decorations for different bonuses. "Powers" (skills) were too limited earlier, but now more various in recent updates. Still, need some more variety especially as Summon upgrade is added, but only two characters are really beneficial from this option. And I think it should be able to use unique powers from other characters. All in all: a fun cost efficient game, just need more improvements.
It's an alright game but alot is missing and it gets to the point of grinding hardcore pretty quickly into it without much to do. it looks fun on the outside, cool looking characters, it has good graphics and decent powers/abilities but thats about it, i just feel its a very empty game and not full release or i am used to in depths roquelikes. There is a DLC wich i think i aslo not worth it as just another character is just as similar to all others for even more money... they could,ve just put it for full release..
It's not a bad game. it's just boring and no real depth. Not a lot of skills/builds to chose from. Not many buildings to chose from either. Once I hit 50 minutes the game stutters every few seconds. Each map seems to be the same. Just a different name. I wish there was a neutral rating.
一般般的幸存者游戏,特色是可以在战场上建造建筑,但角色和技能都不太多,有的还要买dlc才能解锁。
Eh, it's above average in terms of survivor bullet hell games, quite fun and decent in terms of tactics, balance, optimization, progression and available content. It got me hooked so it'd be a no brainer positive rating... ... but I have to go negative because of one thing - bugs. They are very serious in this game, I just had a nearly perfect run after 2 meh attempts, that would finish a map and 2 quests if I got lucky picks/rerolls. But no, the game decided to become completely unplayable and just kill me while I was stuck in basement reward pick menu with no picks displayed and the gameplay loop kept running. It bugged out because (I think) I cleared basement and got level up at the same time. Instant ragequit. At another time 0 mines spawned on the map and I needed to restart. The hero gets stuck and is unable to move sometimes, until you press Esc and come back. Similarly, I had to press that when the hero stopped attacking one time. If serious issues like that get fixed, I'll change to positive.
Great beer and pretzels game!
Pretty meh, very grindy, every match is the same. It looks better than other rougelites, but its game mechanics are nothing if not lackluster. Had to ask myself at some point why I was still playing and it was basically to grind out achievements and chase my anxieties away.
While the game is fun, it dosen't run on my main computer so it's my first ever steam deck exclusive game. The amount of posts I see with similar problems just shows that this game is a broken mess. I would gladly give it recommend but there are other options in the genre that run on more machines. I see devs trying to help out via discord and while I see the good intention I would much prefer a product that ran on more machines. I will keep playing it on the steam deck but as a recommend for others, hard sell.
Neat Survivor/Bullet Heaven that besides the fun Greek Mythos theming, adds the idea of creating structures at random pre-existing spawn points. What structure you build depends on which ones are offered and what you have the resources to build. Could be a Healing Fountain or maybe a Flame Throwing Turret, your call.
Once I figured it out I found it's the best one out next to yet another zombie survivor.
