I genuinely like the entire Warplanes seriens, I just wish that the progression system that you find in singleplayer could be played in co-op with friend compared to just pre-made/custom missions
I love this game..reminds me of some 1990's flight games but in vr, needs improvement on the audio aspects, audio can be a little choppy, maybe some more general air traffic for more realism, maybe a plane refuelling or cargo planes etc, only my opinion
This game is one of the best Vr flight games for turning your brain off (and that's a good thing!) It cuts straight to the point and flying is straight forward and fun. arcade flying at it's best. The MP is also a highlight in both Vs and Coop. The only things I would like to see is a free flight mode for the MP and 2 seat aircraft for some coop shenanigans
Well well well... If there is a better simcade for VR, I am still to see it. It has everything you need. Various planes and helis with their weapon systems and specs, engaging gameplay, nice decorations. I definitely wouldn't mind a coherent story, though its absence does not take away the fun factor, which the games has plenty of. For those who like it, there are some well designed visual customization options. Overall, cannot recommend it enough for such a price.
Great alternative to VTOL VR if you prefer more arcade \ sim-cade gameplay. Love PVP helicopter fights here.
Nukes... PLEASE!!!! NUKESSS
The only VR Flight Cockpit game tried so far that works with HMD + Xbox Controller out of the box. No hand tracking and no keyboard / mouse to operate the plane. Everything just works as expected.
Once you get the hang of it, how to shoot, control the heli and set the game, it becomes addictive. Graphic could use a little more boost, but other then that, I love this game
очень убогий авиасим
Warplanes: Air Corp, developed and published by Home Net Games, is a virtual reality–focused aerial combat title that shifts the Warplanes series into modern military warfare. Unlike its predecessors, which explored historical conflicts, this installment places players in the cockpit of contemporary jets and attack helicopters, emphasizing high-speed engagements, missile strikes, and combined air-to-ground operations. Designed exclusively for VR platforms, the game’s identity is rooted in immersion, aiming to make players feel physically present inside the aircraft as they engage in modern combat scenarios. At its core, Warplanes: Air Corp blends accessibility with action. Rather than adopting the deeply technical systems of hardcore flight simulators, it streamlines flight mechanics to make aerial combat approachable. Aircraft handling feels responsive without overwhelming the player with complex instrumentation or exhaustive procedural realism. This design choice opens the experience to a wider audience, including VR newcomers who might otherwise find traditional flight simulation intimidating. At the same time, the game preserves enough tactical depth through weapon selection, maneuvering, and situational awareness to keep combat engaging. The mission variety provides a steady stream of objectives that go beyond simple dogfights. Players participate in air superiority battles against fighter jets, intercept drone swarms, escort allied units, and conduct precision strikes against ground targets such as armored convoys, missile launchers, naval vessels, and fortified installations. Helicopter missions introduce a different tempo, focusing more heavily on hovering tactics, close air support, and controlled missile deployment. This diversity helps prevent repetition, as switching between aircraft types significantly alters gameplay dynamics. Customization and progression play a meaningful role in shaping the experience. Aircraft can be equipped with a range of weapons, including air-to-air missiles, air-to-ground ordnance, rockets, and defensive countermeasures. Loadout adjustments allow players to tailor their approach depending on mission requirements. Additionally, adjustable difficulty settings let players fine-tune elements such as targeting assistance and defensive systems. This flexibility ensures that both casual players seeking cinematic combat and more experienced VR pilots craving challenge can find a comfortable balance. Multiplayer functionality further extends the game’s longevity. Competitive player-versus-player modes enable aerial duels against other VR pilots, emphasizing reflexes and tactical awareness. Cooperative missions, on the other hand, encourage teamwork, allowing players to coordinate airstrikes and defend objectives together. These multiplayer components transform Warplanes: Air Corp from a primarily single-player campaign into a shared combat experience, enhancing replay value and adding a social dimension to the action. Visually, the game focuses on clarity and functionality within the constraints of VR performance demands. Cockpits are detailed enough to convey immersion without overwhelming the field of view, and external environments provide a sense of scale during high-altitude engagements. Explosions, missile trails, and ground impacts contribute to the spectacle of modern warfare. While the graphical fidelity does not aim to rival cutting-edge simulation titles, it effectively supports the intensity of aerial combat in virtual reality. Sound design reinforces immersion, with engine roars, weapon discharges, warning signals, and environmental effects creating a convincing combat atmosphere. The sensation of missiles locking on or anti-aircraft fire erupting from below heightens tension, particularly in VR where spatial audio adds to the feeling of presence. These sensory elements collectively enhance the adrenaline-driven nature of the gameplay. Despite its strengths, Warplanes: Air Corp may not fully satisfy players seeking ultra-realistic simulation depth. Its streamlined mechanics intentionally prioritize action over exhaustive realism. Control nuances in VR can require adjustment, particularly when transitioning between jet and helicopter handling. However, these compromises are consistent with the game’s philosophy of delivering accessible yet immersive aerial combat rather than strict simulation authenticity. Ultimately, Warplanes: Air Corp succeeds as an action-oriented VR flight combat experience that emphasizes accessibility, variety, and immersion. Its blend of modern military aircraft, dynamic mission objectives, customizable loadouts, and multiplayer modes offers a well-rounded package for VR enthusiasts. While it does not attempt to redefine flight simulation, it effectively captures the excitement of contemporary aerial warfare in a format designed for immersive, fast-paced engagement. Rating: 6/10
