this is a breath of fresh air an a unique concept. the Easter eggs and hidden content is both hilarious and fun as well as the cosmetics you receive make the game worth exploring.
Lily hits different.
This is a fun little game. It's in early access, but highly enjoyable. However, I do have some nitpicks. When switching devices to a weapon to aim. There is a significant delay to bring it to bear. Also, the grinding to get to S class is absurd. Overall, a diamond in the rough.
Twerking skeleton, nuff said. Adore the voicelines "I love you!" Needs some polish but this game has an awesome foundation, enjoyed it a lot with friends and we will definitely be playing again.
very poorly optimized. can't swing melee unless point blank. 0/10 wouldnt play again.
This is a truly excellent start to a game! My understanding is that it is only a few months old, but the core gameplay is already great. Containment Corp, Inc. (gotta love the redundancy) is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. meets Phasmophobia meets Left 4 Dead. It's got the "exclusion zone" feel, then the ghost (sorry anomaly) hunting feel and both work great alongside fighting zombies. Given that the game is in early development it should be no surprise that the game needs development. The basics are essentially there and are solid. Now with development and extension this could be a top-tier game! Here are some thoughts for the developers based on my limited game time: Environmental events. Given the stormy nature of the game (at least on the small map) using the environment to challenge the players will add further immersion. Imagine a Stalker-esque Emission (storm) which calls hordes of zombies (and other critters) to the players' location. Given the danger of the storm itself the players need to stay in cover and fight off the horde for the duration of the storm. Yes, this partially exists in the game already (the capture) but it could be expanded in the Left 4 Dead style horde attack. Players should not feel safe. In this, the zones empty a bit too easily enemies don't seem to respawn, and hordes don't seem to be a thing. Even the special event (on the small map) it's very limited and can be completely ignored as there is no consequence for doing so. Additional, environmental dangers. Radiation pockets? Just for fun and mayhem? Sanity, when dropping, should have a significant negative effect on the players especially visually and audibly. (see almost any Backrooms game). Artifacts could bestow randoms buffs and penalties while carried (combine with a random appearance for even more mayhem). Ghosts* (sorry Anomalies) need to have a localized environmental effect. Gravity, time, elemental, horde calling, etc., not just break the generator in the EMF zone. Anomalies feel too safe. They could even have a mapwide effect that gets steadily worse as time progresses. Map randomization seems like it's planned for (at least based on what paths are visible and how paths are blocked) I'm hoping to see that grow and be used. Thanks for reading my too long review. It's a great start to a game and I can easily see this become a truly fantastic final game! *Somewhere in the game, tutorial (?), video in the base (?), there's still a reference to anomalies as ghosts.
I did not think much of this but I will keep this one. It has the right amount of horror with a sprinkle of sillyness. I'm sure this is targeted to a younger audience but I dig it. Also, the
Weeper
jumpscare had me scared shirtless. I'm impressed!
Absolute value for money with tons to do in large maps, this game provides a fun co-op experience. Lich and Lily did an excellent job creating an eerie atmosphere with (I'm assuming) Lily, nonchalantly and cheerily cheering you on through your objectives while a variety of paranormal creatures try to kill you.
I didn't play the tutorial, so take this with a grain of salt: Damn homie, this game is ***
