Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
It wasn't the perfect implementation of the Boomer Shooter/Arena Shooter genre, but it was a very nice and fun game, and it was Warhammer.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

level design sucks constant repeat of enemies guns dont feel great to shoot besides a few positive warhammer skin cheap looks ight
deeply flawed boomer shooter. extremely unbalanced, enemy density is just insane. you are constantly firing without a second thought because you are constantly getting jumped by smaller enemies while the bigger enemies are just bullet sponges. its a shame because this game has so much going for it, ruined by poor level design and enemy roster. the levels are confusing and without the navigation update, i cant even imagine completing this before rage deleting it. no weapon wheel makes the weapon switching extremely frustrating especially when you are getting jumped by annoying little critters every 0.3 seconds.
If you love Doom, or Warhammer 40k, or both this is a definite purchase. The events of the game pick up after the end of Space Marine 1, and introduces us to Malum Caedo, a Sternguard Veteran of the Ultramarines 1st Company. This game has a diverse armory of weapons to choose from. From the reliable Boltgun, to the lost art of Volkite. It also sees the return of the Vengeance Launcher from Space Marine 1. The combat is intense and provides a large gallery of targets to fight through. Boss fights, mini boss fights, and vibrant environments. If nothing else, what other game has a dedicated button to curse the mutant, the alien, and the heretic? Also if you idle in game, Malum will take a moment to study the tenants of the Codex Astartes. Black Templars may wish to ignore that last point.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun: 100% COMPLETION REVIEW

If you love completing games, take a look at our curator site.

IT IS I, MALUM CAEDO! MY LOVE FOR THE IMPERIUM IS MATCHED ONLY BY MY HATRED FOR THE HERETIC! YOU WILL DROWN IN YOUR OWN BLOOD! FOR ULTRAMAR!!! Definitely a gem among the sea of boomer shooters of this era. It's not the best boomer shooter ever made, there's a few problems, like the repetitive environments and overly tanky enemies, but the word "badass" doesn't even do this game justice, it's heretic purging at its finest! Boltgun has slower movement since we're a space marine in bulky blue armor, but one can simply toggle the Sprint key on. There's some story I think, but it's just there to justify the heretic bloodbath. Going in without being a Warhammer nerd is fine, we're here to make the Emperor proud. Boltgun takes place in the wake of the 'Grimskull War' on Forgeworld Graia, if that helps. There's three Chapters and the DLC, Forges of Corruption. It doesn't overstay its welcome, it's a fairly short journey. There's secrets that are actually power ups, and speaking of which, they're absolutely necessary to make it through the Exterminatus difficulty, which in turn makes Boltgun reach its true potential. Don't get me started on Horde Mode, that one in the same difficulty makes anyone put their gamer pants on! Highly recommended for any boomer shooter enthusiast.
